we have two cats. they love the Iams food. we've tried a couple different varieties. this is our go to one. they look forward to meal time! one cat was a little over weight. since using this, she has slimmed down to a healthier size. they definitely clean the bowl empty. and rush every time it's filled. vet visits are good. so I'd say it's good quality ingredients. they like salmon flavor. one is a picky eater and used to have problems with coughing up, food and hairballs. but no more. happy cats = Iams repeat customers
Fast delivery service thank you. The Iams proactive health chicken and salmon is one of the dry cat food our cat enjoys eating. We like that it has salmon and chicken in the dry food. Cats love salmon and chicken. Plus we know they are eating healthy food.
I had no problem with the product but the packing of this product was horrible. The box it came in was worn out flimsly and covered with tape. When I picked up the bag of food it was open and all the cat food went all over my carpet. Had to scoop it all up, as much as I could.
I've always used IAMS brand dry cat food since getting my beautiful 9 yr. old cat 7 yrs ago from NYC ASPCA shelter. It was her food used at the shelter. In 7 yrs. she has had about 7 hairballs, which I think is very good. And she enjoys eating it.
my caddos (cats that are my kids, cat kiddos - caddos 😆) they absolutely love the flavor of this food and hairballs are down to the bare minimum honestly. would absolutely recommend to everyone. if not this flavor or specialty then definitely just the brand itself.
I was surprised by the enjoyment my rescue cat had with IAMS chicken/salmon hairball dry food. I had him on a higher price brand dry food which my supplier was out of so I tried this brand. Cat loves it. The ingredients are very comparable to the other brand. YES, I recommend.
My cats started vomiting up stomach bile within 2 days of getting this food. I don't know the cause but we went back to their usual food, and they were fine within the same amount of time.
they made up a long named ingredient that must be a filler because lack of ingrediants. the old bags didn't have this and are great. I will not buy the newer versions. my cats mean too much to me. temptations cat food doesn't have it yet and my cats love it.
This is a bad batch of cat food. My cat has eaten Iams for years without any issues, however within 3 - 5 minutes of eating this food my cat threw up all over my house (6 different spots) and was lethargic for 2 days afterward. He then would not touch this food at all choosing to starve rather than get sick on this. I did purchase him a different bag of food from another company %26 he is enjoying the food. I can't find an expiration date on the bag but feel it is definitely expired. I do NOT recommend purchasing this from Walmart again.
My cats are still full of hairballs - so the manufacturer may be full of bologna!! IAMS Proactive hairball care DOES 'NOT' DO ANYTHING TO CONTROL HAIRBALLS as advertised. This is the 2nd (second) time I purchased 7 pounds of this IAMS Proactive hairball cat food and my 2 cats still vomit hairballs all over the house, non-stop, during this warm weather shedding season. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
