I'm currently 8 months pregnant and had to take a cute little fur baby in for a friend. Since I can't scoop any litter my husband had me order this automatic litter box and it was absolutely the best purchase I could've made! It comes with everything you'll need to set up including coupons for replacement trays and litter. I got a reusable try but they also sell disposable ones! And bags! The litter will change colors to monitor your cat's health as well. I can't recommend this product enough.
I really like this automatic litter box. to save money I bought a metal tray to contain the litter and plastic liners for the tray made specifically for this type of litter box. It saved money. My cat went right to the box. after a few minutes of the cat leaving the box, the waist is raked into the end of the box and there's no odor after that.
Prices of everything has gone up. The sale price of this box puts it in the price range I remember a lot of these boxes used to be sold at retail. Inflation being what it is...I guess, I found this box to be the most affordable box that might meet my expectations. Fortunately, this box has so far met all my wants and expectations. It's my first automatic litter and it has improved quality of life for me and my cat. He started using it right away and likes it a lot better than his old litter box! So do I!
Love not scooping a cat box daily! I have 2 cats and I scoop it out of the collection bin only 1x per week! It doesn’t smell and I’ve tried sooo many different types of clay clumping litters and was nervous about switching to a non clumping crystal litter but I will never go back! The actual self raking box itself is great! The Trey that came with the box lasted about a month and the replacement treys are a little on the pricey side so I will probably try and order the metal Trey that fits with it but definitely worth the money!
I searched for a self cleaning litter box. Others at Petsmart/Petco were much more expensive and not what I needed. The crystal litter it comes with was too rough and unfamiliar to my cats. We switched it to our Dr. Elsey’s cat attract cat litter in it, and that is compatible and my cats will use it. It has a 20 minute timer before the rake scoops the litter into the covered collection bin at the front, so I sometimes will just scoop it myself before that 20 minute mark or double tap the light at the back when it flashes indicating the timer countdown has started, and that will start the rake then at that moment. I do wish the collection tray was maybe set up bigger or differently so the used litter collection can be more blocked from smell too, not just out of sight. The base tray is cardboard, with a section that separates the main litter box area from the collection area. Overall, it’s worthwhile, but could use a few design improvements.
I purchased this item because my granddaughter has one that works great. The one I received does not work well at all after it cleans I have to run it again and also use a scoop to clean it better and to remove the cat feces from the rake. I also fill in the holes.
1-inside dimensions 14x15 inches too small,2 disposable tray? cardboard? for the price they should at least include reusable tray,3,feels cheaply maid plastic and bulky, 4,not worth the money, the only thing I liked is the self scooping teck 😉5, crystal litter is too expensive 🫰 I should of did my research before I purchased but they don't specify on the listing.
If you like the smell of cat poop this cat box is for you! I had high hopes for this cat box! I have 4 children who said they would always clean the cat box if we got a cat… guess what didn’t happen! When I found this scoop free cat box I thought that I would give this a try since I don’t enjoy scooping poop everyday. Well after our cat poops the machine rakes the poop into this little part of the disposable box, which theoretically sounds great, but the poop continues to keep getting stuck on the rake and then after it tried to scoop it in the little box part, somehow the poop manages to get on the opposite side of rake and stuck on that part of rake! This machine is just a wreck! Not really sure if I should just throw it away or give it to someone else who wants to give it a try? Horrible product! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone! Btwy we are only a 1 cat household! I can’t imagine multiple cats with this product.
I purchased two of these from Walmart. I like the product, I already have several of them at home as I save as many kittens as I can and currently have 6 cats. One unit was fine. The second unit, however, had been used and returned. It had the box where the litter is supposed to go, but the box had already been used, with cat urine in it. It took a while to open up the boxes since I’m doing some home changes, and I couldn’t figure out why my entryway always smelled so bad .. now I know. They took someone’s returns and didn’t look at it .. not only did they not change out the box for the actual litter, they didn’t put a new unopened bag of litter in the box. Very disappointed with Walmart. I rarely purchase from them, but these units were almost $200 less than the same units on Amazon .. where I had purchased all my other units and never had an issue with them..
The Walmart delivery was excellent. The delivery man brought the boxes inside my house. I am extremely disappointed in the litter boxes. Most of the parts were plastic and flimsy. And the sand was not enough to even cover one box. I paid over $100 each and do not feel that they were worth the amount paid. I am 86 years old and wanted to not to have to scoop litter. I hope that you will respond to this message in a timely fashion and what iwill be my next step in returning the boxes. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
