Iams Proactive Health Indoor Weight and Hairball Care Adult Dry Cat Food, Chicken and Turkey, 16 lb Bag

My indoor cat was getting a bit wide lol so I started giving him this food. He didn't like it in the beginning as I was mixing it in with his regular food for a couple weeks, then I started to use just this and after a couple more weeks he's eating it real well. Google says one cup a day and his bowl is empty the next day.

I have 3 cats, one of them will only eat iams.. - she's a snob. she loves this flavor the most. There was another flavor iams had out for awhile called healthy favorites or something like that but that one she loved the absolute most. wish we could find it again

My cat likes this very much. I am surprised as she is very very picky. I have not tried to change her food in a long time due to this. As you will see by the photo enclosed, I gave her only 1/4 cup to see if she would eat. She finished it so I treated her to another 1/4 cup. With the dog food we also tried today, we are now an Iam's family. Thank you!

My kitties love this cat food. At first they were on a diet and our vet recommended Iams food. And. it is workings wonderfully. Both have lost almost 2 pounds each. They are there at meal time night and morning. It is small and easy to measure as well.

My cats usually enjoy this formula and they liked it quite a bit at first. For whatever reason, they seem a little less interested in it now, but that happens sometimes with cats being picky. They're eating the other bag of Iams, instead. The pieces are very small for easy consumption. Overall, it is a quality food that I would still recommend.

My cats like it I don’t think it helps completely with the hairball issue, but it could be that the cat I have that has this issue issue may have some other underlying issues that are causing it. But overall, they tend to do really well with it so I think it’s definitely worth it and I would recommend it.

Bought this because I was high fiber content because I have a couple kitties that barf up hairballs. Been using it for over 2 weeks and while it seems to be helping it has not gotten rid of the problem but they seem to like the food. Unsure if I will continue to buy it or try another type of hairball formula food.

My pet cat never seem to like the taste Iams Proactive Health Chicken And Turkey Dry Cat Food. As time went on he seemed to like the taste even less to the point he would only eat it when very, very hungry. After a few weeks, I gave up trying to feed only this to him.He enjoys regular IAMS Chicken and Salmon cat food.

I didn't really want or need hairball control (teal colored bag), but Walmart dropped the other weight management Iams kibble (blue bag) from items carried in the store, so I tried this one. It had too much laxative effect on one of my cats. For that reason, I won't be buying this formula again. The other cat did fine on it, though. I'll have to order the blue bag weight management formula shipped. That's inconvenient, but Walmart pared down the selection of kibble and also cat treats that it keeps on the shelves after the local stores were remodeled in April/May 2026.

My cat hated this cat food. It stunk like formaldehyde….or some other chemical. My cat threw up everywhere after eating it. I ended up throwing it away and going back to Purina One that my cat likes. I’ll never buy Iams again.
