Iberia Minced Garlic in Water 32 oz

This stuff is GREAT!!! I use it way, WAY too much.

Good large size jar of minced garlic. Price is as good as the size of the jar. I use garlic in just about every recipe. This jar lasted me a month and I have a family of 4.

This garlic is jarred. Anything canned or jarred must be boiled and/or pressure cooked. This process kills bacteria, but also can change flavors and texture. For ALL jarred garlic, this is true. For jarred garlic, expect a mild flavor. This is a favorite of mine for garlic bread as you can really pile the garlic up. If it's still not strong enough, add a little garlic powder. Under correct storage conditions (refrigerator), I've had this last a considerably long time past the expiration. Make sure you don't cross contaminate the jar, use only clean utensils in it. I've never had a jar go bad, no matter how long it took to use it. I gave this item 4 stars as it's convenient, tastes OK, but it's jarred and I find it hard to give anything canned or jarred 5 stars, not impossible though. Anyway, this is good, and the right price. I think I spent just over $3 on it and it was shipped.

I usually buy the family size jar in the Walmart brand, but i was sent the Iberia Minced jarred garlic. When opening the jar of the walmart brand, you immediately get a strong garlic smell. The taste doesn't disappoint either. When I opened the Iberia brand, I smelled absolutely nothing. The taste was absent also.

I received garlic that was brown, why would the shopper pick it up for purchase? It's a clear jar
