I got tired of composting, it took to long in my totes for kitchen stuff to decompose, I put as much kitchen scraps for my worm beds as I had room for, now making my first run in my new modern product, it was a great price, I saved about $200.00 from the suggested price, I'm hoping it lives up to the expected results as advertised in the reviews, My first lichen composter, so —- will see

I purchased a Vitamix Composter about 5 years ago. The improvements IDOO over my original composter are outstanding: (a) the control panel is in front rather than on top of the composter; (b) the bin is lightweight and easy to remove and place in composter; (c) the dial to open and close the composter, with c showing on the control panel helps determine the status of the compost; (d) the noise level is nominal; (e) the design fits with kitchen items; (f) the compost is excellent.

This composter works really well! It produces a nice, heat dried and ground (equivalent to coffee grounds) supplement that can be added to your traditional compost or directly to your beds Wile not "real" compost (not biologically active because of the heat-dry), it also doesn't stink, can store for months without mold, etc., and contains the calcium from the egg shells, acid from the coffee grounds, etc.

Our grandson loves this drink but we have a hard time finding it. Sam's carry a 24 pack sometimes and Walmart in Poplar Bluff ,MO. carry a 6 pack but since we live in Jackson MO an 1 1/2 hour away you all make it hard to find it

I'm so happy with this food composter. I run it once per week with my coffee grounds, egg shells, and fruit and vegetable scrapss. It works great to make pre-compost to put on my plants. It is easy to use and works every time!!

This is a great product especially helpful during winter months when the weather is not very congenial for outdoor composting, but can be used anytime. Also, the composter looks great. It has white body and wood finish and looks really stylish in the living room or kitchen sitting perfectly on the floor. Using the compostor is pretty easy as well. We just have to put all the organic matter in there and then there is just like 1 button to turn it on and it does its job. It takes a long time but doesn't matter however long it takes. It does its job and the compost is ready. There is no smell and it's easy to use. I would say this is convenient for anyone. It's so easy to use and you don't have to let the organic matter go rot and smell in the trash can. This is a great way to use it or dump it if you can't use.

This machine uses steam to do its job, which requires a lot of clearance above and around it. Not ideal. otherwise, im sure it works fine, but we never took it out of the box after reading the required space needed.

although this item does work, there should be a warning or it should include a tray for it to sit in because regardless of what you add, the process produces a lot of water that soaks the countertop both open and closed. im debating returning it...if i keep it it will definitely need a tray of some sort for it to sit in.

It works great and does the job well. Only gave it a 3 Stars because it takes longer to run then I expected 6 hr minimum and has a loud humm I can hear from 2 rooms away.

It comes with two packets-1 charcoal and 1 white pebbles like stuff. The stupid document or information is not given about it how to fill etc. The YouTube reviews are purposefully hiding the audio about it. We spent 180$ just to be victim of their tricks of hiding things and playing puzzles about it . I am so disappointed and going to return it .
