Igloo 16 QT Playmate Elite Ice Chest Cooler,30 Can Capacity, Red

This model has been around for decades. My mom took hers everywhere living in Florida heat grocery shopping. To the beach, on road trips and I still have it, still working. When I saw this I wanted a backup. It opens and closes easily and latches shut. Very good capacity, lightweight and I hope this lasts decades like the other. The handle makes it easy to carry for all ages. Highly recommend

This cooler fits perfectly in back floorboard of car and in back storage of golf cart. Lid helps keep the ice longer. The cooler has my favorite old school ice cream novelty - The Bomb” on it. My boyfriend chased down the ice cream man once on a sweltering Texas day long ago and brought me back my Bomb. I married that man 50 years ago.

this cooler is the perfect size for a short or long road trip. it kept all my contents cold for at least 20 hours with regular ice.

i love my ice chest, very convenient, not to big, but not to small. just right for my personal use, just enough drinks for a special occassion. easy to carry to and from!!

The cooler is a typical Igloo Playmate style cooler. I love popsicle theme on the top. It matches the popsicle camping chair and the popsicle shirt that my boyfriend has, so I got him this cooler. He loves it!

This fits two gallons of milk perfectly. I have yet to try the slightly taller, rectangular gallons sold at Costco—but I expect even those would fit. The cathedral shape is surprisingly effective, and the lid conveniently opens to either side. At $20 (2024-10-17), the price is fantastic, too.

This cooler is a good size and it is very strong. The price at Walmart is a lot less than other stores priced it at.

Same size as another older cooler. Perfect size to have in vehicle to put items that need to stay cool for short trips around town. This particular one works for the purpose that it was purchased for but the manufacture quality is not good at all. There are very sharp edges at almost all of the joints of the sections, especially the handle. Looks like the mold or the parts were not lined up. Thought about using a razor blade to cut down the plastic so that it would be more comfortable to the hand to carry it but when I tried that it proved to be too difficult and dangerous. I did curbside pickup so I didn't have the chance to inspect the item before purchasing.

It’s scuffed and scratched with dirt stains and streaks that can’t come clean. I tried cleaning it off with a rag as best as I could. If I wanted it used I would’ve looked on fb marketplace. I’ll be returning it. I expected it to be and look brand new.

This thing is junk. The handle wouldn’t even latch when I got it. It Jamed itself up inside the locker mechanism. I had to wiggle it to get it to go back to where it’s supposed to and it still never locked like it’s supposed to this thing jump, save your money.
