I love the thing !! I bought this %26 the 72.. like them both very much... Wish the 72 was greener..it shows every spec of dirt like being white.. not good !! Performance has been 3-4 days ice-cold water even if the ice turns !! Recommend over my Colemans %26 Lifetimes I've had...at an affordable price-point
Trying to work on my yard during the recent heatwave made me appreciate our delivery drivers' hard work. I decided to leave cold drinks on our front porch to say thanks. I originally purchased the inexpensive Igloo 48 QT Laguna Ice Chest. That model was worthless, as 20 pounds of ice turned to water before the end of the day. This one wasn't cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for, as it still has ice after 4 to 5 days.
Did a lot of research. Very happy w this Igloo cooler. I was camping in 85-90 weather for 5 days and this Igloo was a champ! My block of ice was almost same size after 5 days. Everything stays very cold. My son's “expensive” brand didn't do as well. Igloo all the way!
This cooler has been incredible. I took it on a week long camping trip and my frozen water bottles I used as ice packs had ice/super cold all the way to day 6. Handles have really nice padding on them to keep your hands from hurting moving it around while it's heavy. I absolutely love the color of the cooler too.
I'll be truthful. I was hesitate to buy such an expensive product. But when your electric is out for days needed something to try and safe some of my food. And it had turned out to be a great purchase. I put 30 lbs of ice in it. And 5 days later. There is still about 7lbs of ice left in it. Would highly recommend this cooler.
Bought this as a birthday gift for our son as it was like one we purchased 1-2 years ago he really admired. This one I found in his favorite (former San Diego) Charger blue…. He was thrilled to get it… his only complaint was it arrived empty, I forgot the beer lol! It's big enough for his family of three, keeps things cold longer than others we've had. The handles are good and strong, and it's super easy to drain. All and all we got a great cooler for family trips!
WE LOVE OUR NEW COOLER, NEVER SEEN A BLUE ONE BEFORE, DO THEY COME IN PURPLE TOO?! HOLDS LOTS OF FOOD %26 DRINK, KEEPS ICE COLD FOR DAYS. ONLY THING WE DIDNT LIKE WAS THE METAL BANDING THAT WAS PLACED AROUND THE DRAIN PLUG, GOOD THING WE NOTICED IT BEFORE HEADING OUT IN TO THE WOODS FOR THE WEEKEND, WE WOULDNT HAVE A HAD A WAY TO GET THE BANDING OFF. NOT SURE WHY IT NEEDED TO BE HELD IN PLACE WITH THE METAL BANDING, STILL SCRATCHING OUR HEADS ON THE LOGIC BEHIND IT, MAKES SENSE NOW WHY THEY HAD TO CHARGE OVER $100 BUCKS FOR IT, NEEDED TO RECOUP THE MONEY SPENT ON THE UNECESSARY METAL BANDING
We went to the VIR races this past weekend at it was super hot all 3 days we were there. I brought 2 of my 72Q Overland coolers and my friends brought 2 RTIC 52Q coolers. We packed all 4 with food, drinks, and 20lbs of ice in each cooler. I promise you that only the Overland still had ice left albeit it was slushie ice but still ice. Their RTIC was still ice cold water but no ice left. The only issue I had was that one of the latching straps broke off on the bottom handle side. It still latches but very hard to open now. I also wish they made a wheel kit for these coolers. Other than that, I am super happy. Best cooler for the money by far.
I love this cooler and it's absolutely amazing holds ice for days. And cooler holds 20lbs or more of ice. Only reason I'm giving 4star is because while unscrewing cap to drain water from cooler the mechanism came loose inside of cooler so now I have to dump water off cooler ole school way. Other than that great product hands down I would definitely purchase again
Excellent value considering what you are getting. I use the cooler for work in landscaping. Ice lasts about 3 days with constant opening and closing of the lid. The only negatives is that there is no gasket on the lid that helps seal in the cold. The second negative is the two latches that keep the cooler closed. Most coolers will have solid thick material where the black rubber latches hook in too to securely close the lid. This cooler does not have that thick solid material. Instead it's a hollow plastic outline. I don't see it lasting. I feel its going to warp in time.
