I really like this Igloo countertop ice maker! It produces ice quickly, is easy to use, and I love the self-cleaning feature. The stainless steel design looks great in my kitchen, and it fits nicely on the counter without taking up too much space. However, there are a couple of small issues. When the machine runs out of water, you have to power it off and back on again to get it to restart — it would be more convenient if it automatically resumed once water is added. Also, sometimes the ice cubes get stuck and don't fall into the basket properly, which causes the machine to think it's full even when it's not. I have to open the lid and break the cubes free manually. Overall, it's a solid ice maker that does the job well, just with a few minor annoyances. Still worth it for the convenience of fresh ice at home!

Don't like the noise while operating

Not as noisy as ice maker tend to be. Over-all great value.

This is a horrible machine. I purchased it 2 times and each time it stopped working properly before the 30 day mark. Everything goes smoothly until it prompts you to run the cleaning cycle. The machine will not properly go through the cleaning cycle and the machine will not make anymore ice until the cleaning cycle is done which resets the machine. It may be a sensor issue but the exact same thing happened twice so I would not recommend the headache!

Brand-new, followed directions to ready the ice maker for the first batch of ice. Following the directions the maker will not come on. Control screen keeps returning to off when it should be ready. Not happy at all

We opened this Christmas morning as it was a gift for my daughter. We followed all instructions from letting it sit upright, to running the cleaning cycle first, to then adding water to make the ice. It continued to run never making a single ice cube. After hours of trying it went back in the box. This is when it was noticed that the outside was already stickered as a returned item!!! So they sent me something that had previously been returned!!! I have filed a complaint and hopefully they do the right thing and either send me a NEW one or they refund me my money.

The ice maker was ordered as a birthday gift for my aunt. i called her and she reported not receiving the item.
