IMIPAW 4L WIFI Automatic Cat Feeder Smart Pet Feeder Cat Food Dispenser with App Remote Control

I bought 2 feeders, this one and another brand. Comparing the two brands: I like that I can easily see the food tank contents through its transparent container. I like that the food falls completely into the dish, nothing stays hidden (good serving angle). I like that both have the option of battery backup, but I haven't bought the batteries, yet. This one needed some assembly, but it wasn't complicated. This one does not have remote feeding through Internet (no app). This one doesn't have double plate. The other one has a plate inside the plate, so if you need to take it to wash it, the second plate remains ready to catch the food. The control buttons are not clearly labeled to know what to push to adjust the settings, so I'm going to keep the manual available in a safe place.

Very neat feeder. Simple and easy to use. I like that it can controlled by the app. The clear plastic make it easy to see the level of the tank. The size portion is decent. I do 2 feeding size in the morning and 3 portions for evening per cat. And it works good.

I love this cat feeder, and so does my cat! I can use the app to remotely control the feeder, which is perfect for when I'm too lazy to do it manually. The feeder allows me to set up an automated feeding schedule, so I don't have to worry even if I'm not home. Best of all, it keeps a record of each feeding, which I really appreciate. this feeder has made it so much easier to portion out my cat's meals so that she doesn't overeat and regurgitate it anymore. She gets 6 small meals a day instead of 2 large ones, and I don't have to be available all hours of day and night to serve food.

Nice looking, easy assembly, sturdy, holds a lot of cat food of different sizes, works on time, the top has secure locks and the programming screen locks. Programming was not easy. Took me four tries to set time, timer and amount. It woke me me up in the middle of the night with food overflowing the dish. Yes there are instructions and if you miss one step, you have to reset and start over. I kept walking away in frustration. The amount setting does not tell you what the amount will be so I just set it on 2 and it was okay maybe a third of a a cup.

So far so good! Set up was easy, just follow the instructions. The portion part threw me off because its from 0-15 but what I did was I used a measuring cup and did the automatic feed with gives 1 portion at a time, kept pressing until the cup was full (this is the portion I normally feed my cat) and then divided that number in between the feedings. I installed batteries just in case of power outage. It's very quiet and my cat wasn't startled by it...just excited to eat! Good for portion control.

Cons: 1. Setting the time %26 feedings up was VERY DIFFICULT. So, you better get it right the first time you set it up. 2. THE English instructions are missing a page at the end to explain how to unclog a clogged feeder. 3. The dish is super slippery plastic, making it difficult for my cat to get hold of his crunchies, so we replaced it with a ceramic dish. 4. It should give off a little beep, or something, to alert the cat who may be in a different room, that food is being dispensed, Pros: The feeder holds a lot of crunchies and it's good to have a backup feeder when not home. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
