I have the Breville espresso maker, and this one is just as good at 1/6 of the cost. I enjoy the fact that I can use any of coffee bean on the market as majority of the coffee beans already come ground. The functions are simplified and there was no stress using it. I am going to have this in our airstream for on-the-go espresso!

With the rising cost of even leaving the house for a cup of joe, this Imusa espresso machine and steamer has been a lifesaver. Every morning I set aside a few extra minutes to whip up my favorite latte, in my favorite mug, and take 15 minutes to sit prepare myself for the day. Between work, life, and the world changing on a daily basis, those 15 minutes have become my peace and solitude. It's so easy to use this machine, that I can still be half asleep and it practically makes itself. It's sent me on a coffee journey, and turned my husband in an artisanal barista. Let's just say, I wake up looking forward to using this appliance every single day.

Imusa kindly gave me this espresso machine for free so that I could review it. I already have an espresso machine at home, so I brought this to the office for my afternoon coffee. I was a bit worried it would be too loud and could be a distraction to my cubicle neighbors but you seriously don't even hear it brew. The quick guide says it takes about 4 minutes but mine is done closer to 2 minutes when I fill to the 2 cup line so I'm happy with the speed of it. I haven't used the steam wand as I don't usually make lattes or cappuccinos so I can't give any feedback on that. I've just been using pre ground espresso you can find at any store and I'm happy with the taste of the coffee that comes out. Overall, I would recommend this machine for those looking for a budget friendly option. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that an expensive machine has but if you want a good cup of coffee it fits the bill.

This espresso and cappuccino maker is small but mighty. It would be really good for someone who has limited space. I have never made my own espresso before and one of the things that stood out was how easy it was to use. It was only a matter of minutes from taking it out of the box that I was brewing my first pot. As for the espresso, it was very tasty. Nice and strong. The machine was easy to disassemble after for cleaning as well. The milk frother/steamer worked really well, too. I made a little bit of a mess at first, but quickly figured it out. Adding steamed milk to the top of my coffee was a game changer!

So far we're really enjoying this espresso machine. It makes the perfect amount for two cups of espresso that we've been using for every day. Instructions are pretty simple and works pretty quickly. The only issue I had was with the steamer feature for cappuccino. We tried two times and the milk went everywhere! We're going to buy a frother cup/pitcher and see if that works better. Other than that, it's a handy little machine that doesn't take up too much space on the counter and does its job. One feature I wish it had is that it had an automatic turn-off feature. You have to turn the knob for every function including turning it off. Not a deal breaker but if I had a choice, I'd purchase one that offered that feature instead. Overall happy with it.

This machine is compact easy to fit on your kitchen counter and also easy to use. It comes handy when preparing my protein coffee. Hubby was exited to try it out. Im still in the process of figuring it out here and there but nothing crazy about the machine it's not too complicated to use.

It took me tries to understand how to do it. I am use to using pods or instant coffee. Why did it take me tries, because I've never used a machine like this. Once I got the hang of it, I made a pretty decent espresso machine. My family enjoyed it as well! I recommend this for any coffee lover, where you can use a variety of brands and flavors.

That being said, I think this is a decent beginner friendly machine at an affordable price. measurements are clearly labeled, and instructions provided are clear. I've tried a few different grinds, and it's not my favorite strength wise. it seems like it uses too much water per shot, and doesn't produce much, if any, crema. I also found that the pieces can be difficult to lock in correctly, it's a little clunky in that regard. PLEASE double and triple check that everything is locked in correctly before starting the machine. The pressure blew the grinds/holder clean off during one use, when I thought I had it locked in fully. But when everything is set up right, it a a very easy machine to use and a fraction of the price of chain coffee.
