This is a nice toaster. Better than expected! Works well on bread, English Muffins and bagels. Toasts evenly. Best toast ever - perfectly toasted. Highly recommended.

We have dubbed this toaster as "Large Marge" at our house. It is a great toaster and works very well! I am not sure exactly what the "bagel button" has to do with it the manual was missing from our box and I can't be arsed to Google one. Be sure to run a few cycles before putting food for consumption in it. The unholy smells that come off of it when it is new are awful, but that is typical!

makes great toast and bagels. My only negative is, the two timers are too easy to accidentally change. If the dials had click stops, or even friction resistance to make turning the knobs harder, the settings would be more firmly set. It turned out for us, the best setting is "straight up" as in "12 noon" - the setting itself on %234 - easy to notice when it is correct, or has been changed.

My favorite bagels and artisan burger buns fit easily. Not only do they fit but each one toast evenly on both sides. I had been using my countertop oven for toasting but it didn't toast evenly on both sides. I gladly have made room for this great double toaster. It's worth the real estate!

This is a nice toaster and it does what it’s intended to do. I love that you can make four pieces of toast at once. There’s a bagel button, a 1-7 button for how brown you want your toast, and a defrost button. The crumb trays are on the bottom and they’re easy to empty. It makes good toast.

Why does the cord start at the front? It's a nice toaster. I like the bagel or frozen option. You can eject with ease. But I'm going back to check and see if any of the other models have cords in the back. If I find any with cords in the rear, I'm returning this model

Liked the price, look, how it performs. But very cheaply made as it feels extremely light. When you put the bread into toaster and press the down button lever it can slide the toaster some as it is just to light. The worst part of it being so light is the fact that when the bread is toasting, and you need to make it stop (make the bread come up) you have to push the BLACK KNOB (same one for setting the desired toast setting) inward. Which you can't UNLESS you hold the toaster at the top or push the toaster against the wall because when you push that button, it slides away from you and there is nothing you can do to stop that toaster from moving.

We were excited to review a four slice toaster. We've talked about how it would be nice for those family gathering breakfasts when we go through toast like crazy. Or even when we just want two slices each. Well... this Black and Decker Toaster just did not work out. Take a look at the pictures of the muffins we toasted. You can see how the bottom of the muffins were toasted much more than the top of the muffins. Regular bread with a square bottom was even worst. Normally you can see the glow of the heating elements on a toaster. With this unit, you do not see the glow, so there is no way to tell if some of the elements are simply not working. We can make this toaster work, but that involves turning the toast over half way through the toasting process. And that is not worth it. If our unit is indicative of how these work in general, I'd pass on this one.

One look at this toaster after opening the box, and I knew it was going back. The picture on the website does not show it, but the cord comes out of the side at the very front of the toaster. Also, it looks very cheaply made, like it would last about a week. A brand name of Black %26 Decker used to mean you were getting a good, well-made, sturdy product. But they truly missed the mark on this toaster.

This toaster takes forever to toast even just a piece of bread.There is a gap around the outer edge of the toaster that all the crumbs get stuck in and cant get out. The left side button gets stuck and have to push it down a few times to hold food in to toast. My kids would rather stick the food in the air fryer than deal with this toaster.
