BLACK+DECKER 4-Slice Toaster with Extra-Wide Slots, Black with Stainless Steel Accents, including Crumb Tray

My favorite bagels and artisan burger buns fit easily. Not only do they fit but each one toast evenly on both sides. I had been using my countertop oven for toasting but it didn't toast evenly on both sides. I gladly have made room for this great double toaster. It's worth the real estate!

Got this to use everyday at home. I have a big family and sometimes waiting for the toaster can be time consuming when making breakfast for everyone. I love that there are 4 slots which makes my mornings so much easier. I haven’t had any issues with this toaster and pretty much use it everyday.

With a large family, having a 4 slot toaster makes the mornings much more efficient! I love the black and silver; blends in nicely with my other kitchen appliances. Because it is extra wide and has 4 slots, it does take up a little more room on the kitchen counter, but I'm willing to comprise space for efficiency. Toaster is very easy to use and different from my old one. The coils are not visible as they are covered with by piece of thin metal/aluminum which makes for even and crisp toasting. In the middle of the dial is a "cancel" button which lets you quickly pops up whatever you have in the slot. Each side has it's own knob to control toasting and also comes with a crumb tray for easy cleaning. After toasting my items, I went to put away the toaster and was surprised to find that the sides were not hot at all! Perfect for a household with kids!

I got this really nice 4 slot toaster by Black & Decker from Walmart Spark Reviewer for free to do a review on it, in exchange for my honest opinion about it and I recommend this toaster. It's got wide slots that you can put a bagel in it without it getting stuck In it. I like that it has 4 slots to make 4 piece of toast at one time. We love toast and bagels. You can put frozen waffles, Frozen french toast, Toaster strussell in this toaster too. You can add all this and more I'm sure. There is a bagel button on this toaster and a frozen button for the items I mentioned above. There's even a cancel button on this toaster too. There's a toast shade selector so you can choose how light or dark you want your bread or Bagels. When you're not using your toaster you can wrap it underneath the toaster. There's little hooks on the bottom of the toaster to wrap the cord around it when not in use. Theres even a crumb door on the bottom of it too, to make it easier to clean it. This is a really nice toaster and yes I recommend it. Here is a couple pictures to show you what it looks like. It comes with a manual too.

The extra-wide slots in the Black+Decker 4-slice Toaster was put to the test immediately, as we eat an awful lot of bagels as a family. The fit was perfect - even leaving a bit of room on the sides. As far as the toasting goes, the settings are perfect. Don't know anyone that would use 1-3, but 4-6 will give you the perfect toasted bread of your choice. In addition, it looks really nice on the counter. Highly recommended.

This is a nice toaster and it does what it’s intended to do. I love that you can make four pieces of toast at once. There’s a bagel button, a 1-7 button for how brown you want your toast, and a defrost button. The crumb trays are on the bottom and they’re easy to empty. It makes good toast.

I received this product as a member of the walmart spark reviewer program. This toaster is great because its features are quite useful. The fact that it has four slots means you can toast two sets of bread slices at once on not have to go twice. Furthermore, the slots are very wide so you can toast bagels (big ones; sliced or not), you can even toast a with the breads on the outside and heat the pieces in the middle without charing it. The toaster is also light weight despite its size so it is very easy to to move around the kitchen as needed. Although the weight makes you question the durability but time will tell.One of the issues is the smell it makes when toasting. the smells is non bread like and this has occurred during the first couple of uses. Maybe it will dissipate. The shiny metal design is nice and the labels are very clear and it makes the toaster easy to use. This toaster also gives the option to toast frozen items, which my wife said is very useful as you can toast frozen bread.I recommend this product.

The Black and Decker four slice toaster is an attractive and extremely well designed appliance. It operates well, and I finally looking forward to having evenly toasted bread and bagels. I'll also like the nicely browned waffles and English muffins it can toast. For the last several years we went to a toaster oven. While the little oven is great for small baking jobs, it does a poor job as a toaster. The Black and Decker toaster will hold the items to be toasted in the center of the heating element. The extra wide slots have self-adjusting guides hug the item to be toasted in the very center of the slot causing both sides to be browned evenly. The controls are easy to use and situated center each lift lever. There is a bagel and muffin knob as well as a "frozen" button that is great for those frozen waffles. Beneath the toaster are tabs on each corner that allow the cord to be wound up. I find this to be a problem, though, and so I just tuck the cord behind the toaster when it is not in use. Also on the bottom are two easy to open and close crumb doors cleaning. The toaster is very attractive with a brushed stainless steel front and polished stainless top. The sides and rear are a shiny black plastic. It looks good sitting out on our counter. Other than the cord winder the toaster is first class.

While I don’t have too many complaints about how most items toast, I would have to say I wouldn’t recommend this toaster. It does take a long time to toast and the bagel and frozen buttons don’t indicate they are on after being pushed. Just past the 90 day return policy I finally got sick of the mess this this toaster leaves. The doors on the bottom to remove crumbs don’t stay closed. Also I have to mention when braking down the box for recycling I noticed the date the toaster was manufactured. Over two years ago!! To be fair it toasts and I can’t take off for the difficulty of removing crumbs because every toaster I look at has the same issue. Why is it more difficult than an older toaster??

We were excited to review a four slice toaster. We've talked about how it would be nice for those family gathering breakfasts when we go through toast like crazy. Or even when we just want two slices each. Well... this Black and Decker Toaster just did not work out. Take a look at the pictures of the muffins we toasted. You can see how the bottom of the muffins were toasted much more than the top of the muffins. Regular bread with a square bottom was even worst. Normally you can see the glow of the heating elements on a toaster. With this unit, you do not see the glow, so there is no way to tell if some of the elements are simply not working. We can make this toaster work, but that involves turning the toast over half way through the toasting process. And that is not worth it. If our unit is indicative of how these work in general, I'd pass on this one.
