Hamilton Beach SureCut Electric Can Opener, One-Touch, Hands-Free, Multi-Tool Included, Stainless Steel

I had the previous model for over 5 years, when it started "acting up" (grind wheel slipping, blade popping out several times, having to hold the can to avoid it dropping) I definitively wanted to stay with this brand. Maybe because it's brand new (and has a magnetic lid grabber) but I swear it seems even better than my old one. If it lasts 5 years, I'll gladly consider it worth it and buy whatever the new model is.

I really love this can opener. After purchasing another brand in the past, I decided to try this one, and I am so glad I did. It works incredibly well, and is quiet. I especially like that it doesn't stop because of the paper label on cans. It is easy to use, and that's important because I have arthritis in my hands. I highly recommend this product! A

The Hamilton Beach can opener is very easy to use. I like the sleekness of the design. It takes up less room on the counter than our old one, which was shorter and chunky. The stainless steel looks nice and matches our appliances. The can opener operates very smoothly, and is quieter than previous one we had. My father recently needed a new one, so I got him the same kind, and he is very pleased as well.

This is a great little can opener. it's footprint is quite small so fitting on a countertop is easy and doesn't take up much space. It automatically opens the can once started, handsfree and stops once the can top is done. It stays on the can opener until you release it. This was a great buy.

It's so sleek looking, doesn't take up much space, and fits in with my other counter appliances. So far, it works great. it doesn't produce smooth lids like some newer versions do, but I am okay with that. I am a senior, and l fractured my dominant arm, and my hand is swollen and painful to use. This completely eliminates any challenges to using a manual opener. (Keeping the manual in case of power outage.) It was also delivered quickly. (I prefer shopping Walmart vs. Amazon.)

I love my Hamilton Beach SureCut Automatic Electric Can Opener! I can't believe I waited so long to replace my manual can openers, which always seemed to break. This can opener is well-constructed, easy to use, and attractive on the countertop. I also appreciate the included bottle cap opener, which is a nice added feature. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and have no reservations about giving it five stars!

Takes some getting used to, it is not quite the same as the old school 70's can openers, that called the cat from blocks away, but it works. I can't always get the manual can opener to work, and this has made it possible for me to open a can without help, so for that: it is the best can opener ever.

I rarely leave reviews but I had to this item is pure trash I bought it and used it twice maybe three times well last night I was making tuna I opened the cans there were four I had a hard time opened the first three and when it came to the fourth it just went out didn't make a sound nothing so not buy this item well I had a bad experience it also did look like that item had been used but I wasn't really sure

I took it out of the box opened one can and the opener on the handle broke on the second can. The handle that the opener blade is on, the piece you have to push in to open your can, is made of the cheapest plactic painted to make it look like silver/metal. Its garbage.

Bought this for my elderly parents. It seems powerful enough. But it’s awkward. The release button to pop the can opener out for cleaning is in the way. Trying to show my elderly parents how to use an electric can opener was weird %26 the button kept releasing the mechanism. Very dissatisfied overall considering the intended reason for purchase. Would be fine for probably anyone else. Wasn’t worth the purchase for me. Very dissatisfied overall.
