Not made of sturdy material but can't tell by looking. Keeps perfect "quiet" time! Love the red--it's a true red %26 I love it!

Only 1 down side. It is a very cheap plastic but when it is on the wall it looks great . Keeps very good time as well .

It is a clock. It has hands that tell you the time. And a sweeping second hand that constantly reminds you that the past was now, and it holds so many memories of what the future might have been if you had more time. And then the clock reminds you that there is time. So it's a good clock.

This is a nice clock. Like the color and how it looks in my Kitchen.

It does look retro, keeps the right time, is a good size for the space I wanted, and was reasonably priced. What more can you want? Someone complained it was plastic. Of course, it is. Metal would be really heavy and you would probably have to hang it where there is a wall stud. This does not look cheap and does not scream plastic. Mine is green and it goes great with the artwork and plants in the room.

I have bought three of these clocks and they look great. But none of them keep time and two have stopped working completely. I would NOT RECOMMEND unless you just want a pretty looking clock that doesn't keep time.
