Unfortunately, the item came with deep scratches and dents, but the seller offered a full refund. I'd purchase from them again confident that I'd either get an undamaged item or a refund.
I highly recommend getting the Insidious 4K/blu-ray/digital steelbook. The movie is a very good scary movie. Video and audio quality of the 4K disc is top notch and the steelbook cover has really creepy artwork featuring the star from the movie. There are a lot of jump scares and the acting is very good. A go see it.
The films arrived well protected, and none of them arrived broken. Excellent service and the best prices.
Really nice 4k presentation of the movie and nice steelbook. Very creapy horror movie worth of multiple re-watches.
Just outstanding in every way
Great collectible edition of a great horror movie!!
Excellent copy of the disc and the steel book excellent condition and cool holgram of front and back.
I'm a pretty big fan of the Insidious series, especially the first two. I was quite happy to see the first film had gotten the 4K treatment. Grabbed it when it was on sale for $15, and I can't complain a bit. Most definitely worth that price. Probably worth it up to $30. The transfer is pristine and the HDR adds a lot to make the colors really pop. Grab this release before it's out of print!
If you don't like jump scares, you should probably stay away from this movie. It follows a family that moves into a new house when their son comes down with a mysterious illness. Soon, strange things start to happen. I don't want to give away too much, but it takes you on a terrifying, roller coaster ride with a surprise ending. This is a horror movie, but it isn't gory. It is more about creepy vibes and sudden, startling moments. The soundtrack sounded great in Dolby Atmos and really added to the films fear factor. You could hear every creek coming from the floors surrounding you. The dynamic range really draws you in as one second it is dead quiet and the next second you have a startlingly loud scene with something popping out of nowhere. There are few scenes with a moment of pretty good bass, but without explosions or gunfights it is overall pretty tame. In 4K UHD with Dolby Vision the picture was equally good. A lot of the movie takes place in dark environments, but there is heavy use of candles, flashlights, and other lighting effects that really contrast the overall darkness. All scenes were very clear with very little grain. The movie came with a digital code that was redeemable for the 4K version of the movies through Movies Anywhere. The steelbook itself is beautiful with an overall darkness to it, however the colorful areas have a metallic quality to the paint that really jumps out. My order was fulfilled by Please Rewind. It arrived well-packaged in a sturdy box and was in perfect condition. Shipping took only a couple days. In my experience, they have always been wonderful to purchase from. There are rarely any issues, but if there are, they address them quickly. I did have to knock 1 star off because it refused to play correctly in my Panasonic 4K player. I cleaned the disc before watching and there were no noticeable scratches or other marks. Every few minutes the picture would pixelate for a few seconds. I finally got fed up and tried the disc in my old Sony 4K player. It seemed to work fine using the Sony and I had no further issues.
it came so damage busted open i was mad so badly who ever package it need be fired .
