Instachew Purechew Mini Automatic Smart Cat Feeder, Smart Food Dispenser for Dogs and Cats

We have tried 3 or 4 different feeders for our cats. This one is absolutely the best! The set-up takes half the time of any other feeder we have tried and we love the ability to monitor the feedings online while we are gone. Don't waste your money on inferior products - BUY THIS ONE!!

Easy to assemble and an attractive unit. However, it was not the easiest to get paired with Bluetooth. The directions could be a bit more step-by-step, which I think would have helped with the pairing process. However, the QR code for the online manual and website are detail rich. I finally got the device paired by taking the batteries out, unplugging the cord and then starting all over. By the time it was paired my cats were lurking over me like wild predators waiting at the watering hole. So far, food has dispensed as I programmed it to. Again, directions aren't that clear on setting up a feed schedule, but ultimately getting a schedule added was somewhat intuitive. The Purechew Mini schedule is military time, and the directions didn't mention that, so that could be stated. If your cats wake you up pre-dawn wanting food, this is your ticket to sleeping in!! My only suggestion design wise is that it should allow for a smaller portion to be dispensed, as I do plan to use this for dispensing treats rather than food and the smallest quantity allowed is 10g, which is a rather large amount for treats. But, since I have 2 cats 10g will work ok.

I have been looking for something like this for awhile and finally made the decision to buy this one based on reviews alone. I am super pleased with this purchase. This product gives my family and I peace of mind when we are away, even if for the day. We are able to feed our cat and control portions no matter where we are. Love that it operates off wifi.

I've been using the purechew mini for 2 months to feed my cat and it has been great so far. My cat is reliably fed every morning before I wake up, so I don't have to get up! I've had some minor issues with the app that have not affected feeding thankfully. The initial connection was confusing, but once I got it going, it's been fine, hence the 5 stars.

Buying this was such a great choice since a lot of Amazon based automatic feeders couldn't handle the type of food we feed that cats and they're very picky so finding this feeder was a godsend! The fact that it also gives me updates on refills and feeding schedules is amazing for me who has a busy schedule! Thank you so much!

I just bought it today so still have to try it out but I think this is going to be great for my cat because the dogs always eat her food and this way I can dispense just a little when she wants it so they don't eat all her food.

It's a great feeder once you figure out how it works. The instructions are not very clear and the app is not intuitive, but if you use an AI app to help make sense of it, then it's a good reliable feeder.

I would not recommend this at all. There were many issues with it from the start. First it just sporadically dispenses itself and does not follow the schedule. Now that I am away from home it is not connecting to the app at all so I am unsure if my cat is even being fed when I'm away from home. It also advertised that it had a camera when it does not

This feeder would not stay connected and wouldn't feed when it was supposed to. It worked at first and thank goodness I have a camera in the laundry room and I was able to see that it wasn't feeding! Please don't chance it with this machine. Starving kitties 🥺
