This is a must add on to your kitchen. The size is perfect to use it alone or to complement your full size instant pot. I use it to pressure cook my meat for Ropa Vieja! It worked incredible. This is the type of tool that you definitely need both sizes. One for the rice and one for the meat. Just perfect.

I have a a larger Intant pot for several years now and I wouldn't be without it, but I lost my husband recently and I really needed something smaller, something I could use efficiently for one or two people. I found this in the Instant pot mini. My mini cooks brilliantly with small amounts and still lets me batch cook for 4+ meals at time, It's ideal, the size is brilliant , I like the fact the the plug is attached to the Pot and not seperate, I can fit a small chicken in it . It sits nicely on the work bench and looks really smart, it has become my new best friend. I would recommend the mini for anyone in my situation who wants to eat good healthy food without the hassle of using lots of different pans, it allows you to prep and walk away and enjoy your day and come home to a home cooked meal that cooked itself.

This has a big safety improvement on the 3 litre instant pot, especially for the easy pressure release button at the front which keeps hands away from the pressure valve. The shallow cooking pot is much better for sautéing vegetables and meat pre pressure cooking. Touch controls are simple to use. It would be good to have a recipe book included, rather than all online. It has been used a lot for soups, mains, cakes dry successfully. I would like to be able to buy a non stick inner pot. I enjoy using it and it is very energy efficient, costing pence to produce a main meal, such as risotto in 10 to 15 minutes with fresh ingredients for 2 to 4 people.

I was so excited to try out the new classic mini and it was well worth the hype. It's wider than the old duo so has a bigger capacity and looks a bit more like a slow cooker, which fits into my kitchen so nicely. They improved the steam release to a switch and stopped the inner pot spinning as you stir, so definitely an improvement on the duo. Can't wait to try more meals in it!

I used Insta pot duo instead of my stainless steel conventional pressure cooker and It didn't fail to amaze me. It is very easy to use and is surprisingly very quiet. Secondly it is very easy to clean and is dish washer safe. i like that the inside part that comes in contact with the food is stainless steel so no plastic leaching into my food. At the same time the exterior is plastic and does not get hot so there are less chances of burn accidents. I cook for a family of 5 and this is the perfect size for me. Also I really like that incase if my food is burning cause I added less water the instant pot switches off and shows me a burn warning on the screen.

You can make so many different things in this machine! I absolutely love the versatility of this product. I can now eliminate probably 2-3 large appliances and use this instead! I love that it pressure cooks AND slow cooks, so it works if I have a short amount of time or all day to prepare dinner for my family. I haven't made yogurt yet, but that's my next cooking adventure with my new Instant Pot!

I haven't used it very much yet as I have bought it to use in our motor home. I was pleased when I took it out of the package as it was very light and much smaller than my other pot, which is what I hoped for. I have just tried using the sauté, slow cook and pressure cook in my kitchen to cook recipes that I often cook. I was very pleased with the results and think it should work really well in my motor home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Kitchen Upgrade! I just received my Instant Pot Duo Plus 8QT, and I'm so impressed! The size is perfect for family meals, and it cooks everything so fast and evenly. I've already tried rice, soup, and pulled pork — all turned out delicious and tender. The controls are simple to use, and I love the updated display and multiple cooking functions. Cleanup is easy too. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to save time and enjoy great homemade meals!

So, I'm still undecided on if I love this or not. This is the first time I've ever used an instant pot, so it was a little overwhelming for me. I did a little trial and error on some things trying to figure out how to use it correctly and efficiently. One, this thing is HUGE. I am still shocked at how big and bulky it is. I didn't think it was going to be as big as it was. Great for my very large family, but wow! 😂 I loved that I could use frozen meat to speed up the process of cooking. With that being said, everything I read about using frozen meat, said it should only take 15-20 minutes more on cooking. Mine did not. I had to cook it probably an extra 50 minutes. Thank god I didn't have to be anywhere at a certain time, or I would have been running through a drive through. When I used thawed meat another time, it was about the accurate time it should have been to cook. I do feel like there are a few more steps to using an instant pot vs a crockpot with some of the meals that I made. I didn't like that aspect, as I was hoping it would have sped up my prep and cooking time, but I don't feel as it did. I'm going to keep giving this a chance, as there are alot of meals that I found that seem to be better suited with the instant pot. I also really like that instant pot has there own app for the various meals you can make with it. That is super helpful!

I really like that the inner pot is wider but not as deep as the original IP mini. That said the outer takes up much more space than the original with having the handles. Don't like the fixed lead either. Bit disappointed that it's a dark blue colour as it looks a very light blue on the website and I thought it would match my light blue Vortex Mini. Overall I love IP products and wouldn't buy any other
