I use this for my family of 5 and really like it. I have never used one before. It took a minute to understand how to actually use it, but once I figured it out it's super easy! I made baked potatoes and they turned out so good, just as good if not better than getting one at a steakhouse. It smelled amazing and cooked perfectly! I can't wait to keep using this with difference recipes. Very easy set up and easy to clean.

Wow, the upgrades on this from my previous Instant Pot are amazing. I already been using it for 8 years, and loved the one pot cooking (yay for less dishes), and the speed and ease of cooking dinner in my Instant Pot, but didn't think I needed to update it. Boy are these upgrades worth it! I love the screen that shows me where we are in the process like how soon it will be done preheating, and I really love the silicone handles that lift out the pot when I am going to clean it and pack up leftovers. Super convenient to have a switch on the top too for the pressure release instead of a valve. Cannot recommend the Instant Pot enough for busy families who hate doing dishes. I am used to manual pressure cookers like the ones I grew up with. I am glad I have this one now, it's super simple to use and great for quick or quicker meals. It's so easy to use that the first few times, I thought I was using the machine wrong. Since a lot of people use Instant pots, finding recipes and how-tos online is fast, and you can set it up quickly.

After owning two other Instant Pots (6qt Duo Evo Plus and the 6qt Duo 7-in-1), I can confidently say that the Instant Pot® Pro™ 8QT Multi-Use Pressure Cooker is a huge upgrade. It keeps everything I loved about the earlier models but improves on nearly every detail. The larger 8QT capacity is a game-changer for my family of six, including two teens who seem to be hungry all the time. I can finally cook generous portions with enough left over for another meal. This is by far the best Instant Pot I've owned. Compared to the previous models, the Pro feels more powerful, more intuitive, and noticeably faster, especially with its quick pre-heating. The "Favorites" feature is one of my favorite upgrades. I make a lot of pot pie fillings in the Instant Pot, and being able to save custom cooking times and temperatures has made my results consistently perfect every time. The performance itself is also improved, as it cooks evenly and doesn't burn food, even during longer cooking cycles. The versatility stands out immediately. I used the included steamer rack to make perfectly boiled eggs, something I've never been able to pull off so well in a pressure cooker before. Its even cooking and reliability mean I can set it, walk away, and trust it to do the job without scorching anything. The large size is ideal for big families or meal prep, and the ability to have enough leftovers is a huge plus for busy weekdays.

Have only used one time. The directions could have been more clear. Cooked exactly like my previous electric pressure cooker.

This Instant Pot was fabulous! It has rubber handles to remove the pot and a steam vent cover. The pot is large making it ideal for families. And, it has a multitude of features.

Opening the box was a bit daunting because it's so big, but we have six people in the house to feed, so the 8qt InstantPot Pro is perfect for our household. No difficult setup, just make sure the steam vent is in the correct position, plug it in, and do your test run! It comes with a recipe book as well as instruction manual, which is really nice because you get a good idea of what this bad boy can do, and it can do a lot! Ten different functions, not just a slow cooker or pressure cooker. We were able to get rid of three different, bulky kitchen appliances: The crock pot, the pressure cooker, even the bread maker! Yes, we baked bread with our InstantPot Pro! It can even make yogurt! The design of the InstantPot Pro is sleek and modern, the interface is intuitive and user-friendly. It's not complicated at all, and you can even save your favorite settings to make it even more simple. My family is loving the Pro, even my 18 year old uses it to bake and make curry. I'm highly impressed and I definitely recommend the InstantPot Pro!

I love how you can use this product for so many things! My favorites are slow cook, saute, and making yogurt! I do have one critique - when making yogurt on the boil setting, it doesn't actually get it up to the required 180 degrees, but I use the saute feature very briefly and it gets it up high enough!

I received the Instant Pot Pro 8 Quart Multi Use Pressure Cooker to review. I have never used a pressure cooker before so I was a little nervous at first. I was very pleasantly surprised that this was very easy to use and dinner was ready within a half hour. It was easy to follow the directions and the recipes in the little booklet were easy to follow.

Love this purchase but the only thing i don't like is the insert. It's so light. But impressive can do a lot of things
