It works great! I might argue that it gets the temperature a little too hot on weeks with consistently high temps. Overall the fit is good and it keeps most debris out of the pool!
I have been using these for over twenty years, the price has doubled but the product is the same. I use three of the ten footers in my 13' X 36' pool to warm the water and prevent some evaporation. They typically last about one season before they start falling apart. I cut a hole in the center of one of them to trap my floating chlorine tablet dispenser.
This solar cover works great
perfect fit and keeps my spa clean. And warm.
The pool itself is pretty good, I'd reccomend. The pump/filter is ridiculous, this filter is tiny and needs cleaning every couple days, the pump works, but moves so little water its actually funny... But it's not...
What I saw in the photo and what I received really doesn't seem like what I ordered, this was my 3rd attempt to get a cover from Walmart and all I can say is study the pic's, ask questions and do homework don't do like me and assume what looks exactly like what you need will look totally different when you receive it. Not sure if its Walmart vendors problem or Walmarts problem so I take the blame for not doing my due diligence. This cover is literally a huge piece of "popits" the kind we ship with and kids love to pop. No elastic or draw string, literally a big, huge "popits" sheet.
The cover is basically very thin bubble wrap. There is not any way to keep it from moving around as the water moves. It barely raised the water temperature. If it were only a few dollars, I wouldn't mind but I paid almost $30. I don't feel like I got my money's worth.
It's just bubble wrap for almost $30. the biggest waste of money ever. If i had known thats all it was, I would not have gotten it. They make it look better in the pictures. But literally you can just buy bubble wrap cheaper.
product arrived with tear
As the title states. It had a hole in it right out of the package
