These are solid tubes. We used 2 of these to float the Spokane river and were surprised at how durable these were! It has dual air chambers too, so if one goes flat it will still float.

I've been using this brand for years to go inner tubing on the lake or down the river it never disappoints me they're comfortable ride in and they're pretty tough material and if taken care of it will last you years to come

This tube was lots of fun at the beach and was used by kids and adults. There was plenty of room to fit comfortably. There were two issues: a defective insert “peg” which wouldn't snap in properly in the valve to completely seal when in use and then when you need to deflate for storage it was difficult to find the proper spot to squeeze in order to keep the valve open and keep the deflation process going continuously, so it took a very long time to completely the task. I own several items from Intex and never had any problems so this must have been a fluke. I would still recommend this item for the overall value and quality.
