Light weight. Blows up with pump included very quickly and deflates quickly. Easily folds back up into duffle bag to transport. I'm 5'6" and my legs fit fine in front compartment... (once i figured out how the blow up piece goes in correctly) . Hubby wanted to try getting in .. he is 6'1" and his legs are too long to scrunch up enough to get in opening. I had tried another brand of inflatable kayak and the sides were very tall making paddling uncomfortable on my shoulders. This was very comfortable on arms/ shoulders. I don't recommend using the included paddle.
This is a great value for someone that isn't sure if they'll like kayaking or not. For a little over $100 you can test paddling in a good stable kayak. If you love paddling, you can always sell the boat used on marketplace, and then upgrade to a nicer boat in the future. If you're not a fan of paddling after trying it, you can sell the used boat on marketplace and get half of your money back. Pretty cheap way to try paddling. Note that there is a weight limit for this boat. Always wear a life jacket!!
LOVE this kayak! It worked beautifully, providing a smooth ride. Took about 20 minutes to set up first time. Chose to use the triangle green insert behind my back for more lower back support while paddling. Look forward to many weekends enjoying this kayak at local lakes.
Easy to handle easy to inflate easy to deflate all around love the product the seats not bad but the support is a little shot, but again really not bad for the price and convenience
I have used it twice in two different ponds where motor boats are allowed. I was very impressed. It is extremely sturdy. Easy to inflate/deflate. It inflated in minutes. It is very lightweight in highly recommend it.
it took a little bit to get used to using an air kayak , since it's such an lighter vessel it takes some getting used to maneuvering it . but all in all it was quite satisfying I enjoyed it even if I did have to go in circles a couple of times
Quality is good, paddling is relatively easy, valves work well, skeg is important, pump is ok, and I am glad the carry bag is a little oversized as you can never fold these up as compact as they ship. I did purchase an electric pump. I bought 2, Walmart cancelled 1 saying it was not in stock, but they were still selling them at a higher price.
This product is best for a small adult or a child I am a 6-ft male it did not fit me but it will do in a pinch I wish they made a bigger size for a man
I purchased this to go kayaking with my kids who have a typical kayak. I have been kayaking before in a regular kayak a few times and have never had as much trouble moving through the water as I did in this. I am 53 and 115 pounds. We went to a lake so the current wouldn't be an issue and I was blown around by the wind and ended up having to return it. I don't think I weighed enough to see the benefits. I gave it three stars because it inflated quickly and was comfortable.
I had a terrible experience with it. The seat was sized more for a child than an adult and was very uncomfortable with the low back. My friend was towing a floating cooler in a REAL kayak. I reached over to get a soda and all kinds of water came inside the kayak. I was out on a lake with no way to get the water out. What I had hoped to be a pleasant day was anything but.
