Great product but instructions should emphasize best way to keep I totally inflate without losing air so to have a safer journey on the water. Also possible configurations for building a floor platform for better stability when moving about boat would be helpful

Awesome little inflatable boat! Perfect for summer fun at the lake. Really durable and comfortable. Would recommend buying an electric pump to use in place of the hand pump that comes with it. We had a great time using it for hours on the lake. Plenty of room for the family plus a cooler and other items. Cannot wait to get some accessories for this and really make it a staple lake must have for our family!

So far so good! Great, actually. I am very impressed with this boat. I wasn't sure what to expect and was fully prepared to sink on its maiden voyage. However, it is a quality product. The material is sturdy and it has a three chambered system so that, if you do spring a leak, presumably the rest of the inflated chambers will keep you afloat until you can get to shore. It inflates easily with the included hand pump, which I did use the first time. It is super comfortable for two adults, and doable with three, but I feel like five adults would be a stretch. I bought a Bimini top for the excursion 4 boat to use with this model and it does fit perfectly. Be aware that it does not shade this entire boat, though; someone will wind up in the sun. We are really enjoying this little boat and plan to purchase a trolling motor soon to use with it as well. We also have no trouble deflating it and getting everything back into the included storage bag. I really recommend this product! Please note: it is heavier than you'd think. I could not inflate it and carry it to the water by myself, so just know you might need a helper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this boat for our 14 year old grandson for his birthday. After reviewing and looking at many boats of this type and being familiar with the quality of Intex swimming pools made this our choice. He loves to fish so it will be primarily used for that. Plenty of room for 4 so entire family can use it together. He is already anxious to get a trolling motor for it. Very pleased with the quality of this product and the fact that it was received in excellent condition. After reading many reviews the biggest complaint when ordered from "0ther" retailers was the poor condition the boat was received in. High recommend this product. Only suggestion to Intex is to make the storage bag a bit larger. Very pleased jet customer !

My girlfriend and I took it down the river and had a blast! The material is really heavy duty but the oars could use a better design. Once you screw the black plastic deal that extends the oars, they are extremely hard to take apart for storage. I recommend buying the motor mount from Amazon as it only cost me like $14 and get a trolling motor.

Only had this out once so far so I can't speak to durability. But happy with how it appears. Took about 20 minutes to get set up/pumped up out of the initial packaging. Was able to get it folded back up into the carry bag afterwards - although not as compact as initial delivery. Hoping for many outings with it

I really like this boat. I bought if specifically to use in an estuary off the inner coastal. Once you get the boat in the water it is fantastic. It is easy to row, and it comes with four oar locks so you can add two more oars if you would like. I will say that although I was happy that the oars came with the boat, I was not impressed with how the pieces of the oars come together. They don't lock together in a way that keeps the oar straight when under pressure. I would not let this deter you if you want a boat of this size. I have used the boat twice at this point and the oars still work fine. The included seats that come with the boat are very comfortable and a great idea. The specs of the boat say that it is both a four person boat and a five person boat so I was a bit confused. After using it I would say it is ideal for four but you can have five if you need to and still be comfortable. Getting the boat in the water requires a bit of work. I have not used the pump that comes with the boat, I used the compressor that came with my air mattress. This fills the boat very quickly. When it is inflated it is about 12 feet long and very heavy. You need at least two people to move it. I had to drive it to where I was going to use it and had to strap it to the top of my car. Getting past the logistics of getting it where you are going to use it, I would definitely recommend this boat. I would give it five stars if the oars were just a bit better, but again I would not let this deter you from buying.

Product came with a hole in the weld and the company that manufactures intex is very bureaucratic to make the repair or replacement they ask for many vouchers and data only to open the warranty request and then they ask for more data at nothing, of the desire to give up the product and lose the money

I am disappointed to say I only got to use this boat one time. When I first inflated this boat I used it for about 30 mins. And then when I went to travel to use it a 2nd time the two outer rims started deflating I was terrified in the middle of the lake. It just sucks

Spacious but very very flimsy. Had a hole in the bottom on first use. You have to lay it on a tarp to inflate and deflate, and remove all jewelery or anything else even vaugely sharp. Almost brilliant but the material is far too thin. Upgraded to the Mariner 4, the previous one I owned lasted 14 years of regular use.
