Intex Excursion Inflatable 5 Person Water Fishing River Boat Raft Set Oars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this boat for our 14 year old grandson for his birthday. After reviewing and looking at many boats of this type and being familiar with the quality of Intex swimming pools made this our choice. He loves to fish so it will be primarily used for that. Plenty of room for 4 so entire family can use it together. He is already anxious to get a trolling motor for it. Very pleased with the quality of this product and the fact that it was received in excellent condition. After reading many reviews the biggest complaint when ordered from "0ther" retailers was the poor condition the boat was received in. High recommend this product. Only suggestion to Intex is to make the storage bag a bit larger. Very pleased jet customer !

Excellent product, the inflatable boat looks just as pictured online the Free Delivery was SUPER FAST- I ordered on Saturday night at 11:47pm and the Boat arrived the following Tuesday. It is easy to inflate and put in %26 out of the water/ lake will hold 2 adults comfortably I would not recommend 4 adults- The oars are Excellent and the boat is WELL BUILT!!

My girlfriend and I took it down the river and had a blast! The material is really heavy duty but the oars could use a better design. Once you screw the black plastic deal that extends the oars, they are extremely hard to take apart for storage. I recommend buying the motor mount from Amazon as it only cost me like $14 and get a trolling motor.

Works great and holds up well even with my four kids jumping and climbing in and out of it constantly.

This is a wonderful boat for people who want a boat but can't afford the big ones. This one is convenient, durable, and don't need a trailer. We had a blast using it on the lake.

Very pleased with the size, detail and quality of the boat. The boat did arrive with a slow leak in the floor but I assume a minor repair will take care if it.

I really like this boat. I bought if specifically to use in an estuary off the inner coastal. Once you get the boat in the water it is fantastic. It is easy to row, and it comes with four oar locks so you can add two more oars if you would like. I will say that although I was happy that the oars came with the boat, I was not impressed with how the pieces of the oars come together. They don't lock together in a way that keeps the oar straight when under pressure. I would not let this deter you if you want a boat of this size. I have used the boat twice at this point and the oars still work fine. The included seats that come with the boat are very comfortable and a great idea. The specs of the boat say that it is both a four person boat and a five person boat so I was a bit confused. After using it I would say it is ideal for four but you can have five if you need to and still be comfortable. Getting the boat in the water requires a bit of work. I have not used the pump that comes with the boat, I used the compressor that came with my air mattress. This fills the boat very quickly. When it is inflated it is about 12 feet long and very heavy. You need at least two people to move it. I had to drive it to where I was going to use it and had to strap it to the top of my car. Getting past the logistics of getting it where you are going to use it, I would definitely recommend this boat. I would give it five stars if the oars were just a bit better, but again I would not let this deter you from buying.

Only had this out once so far so I can't speak to durability. But happy with how it appears. Took about 20 minutes to get set up/pumped up out of the initial packaging. Was able to get it folded back up into the carry bag afterwards - although not as compact as initial delivery. Hoping for many outings with it

I like the way the seats attach to the raft so they don't slide around. It's a nice size and 4 people can fit in it, but with two you have plenty of room for a cooler and dry bag. The quality of the material is okay. It's about the equivalent of the old Sevlor rafts. Fun for easy river floats and will probably last a long time if stored and taken care pf properly. The only problem I have with it is the price you pay vs the value received. I think it's overpriced.

Do not buy these Intex products through Walmart online and the provider Top Rated Seller if you are planning on attaching any motor to it. Most states require registration for motorized vessels. To obtain that registration you are asked to provide a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) with the section titled First Assignment filled in by the seller. Intex will provide you with the MCO but the company fulfilling the order must fill out the first assignment section. I made several attempts to get this from "Top Rated Seller" but they told me that they had no way to fill out the document and return it to me so I needed to contact Walmart. Imagine that, a company that can't sign a PDF document. Either this company is totally inept or they sold me a vessel that had already been registered by someone else. When I contacted Walmart I spoke to a representative who seemed to be helpful, understood what I needed, said that they would post a complaint regarding the seller and told me that I would hear from someone from Walmart within 48 hours to resolve the issue. That was a week ago. Selling someone something that can't be used for the purpose it was advertised is fraud. My next step is the state's Attorney General's Office.
