Worth the money. Easy to set up and deflate. Me and my 8 year old could set it up in 7 minutes flat. Stays stable on water and also bears weight of 2 adults easily. It's fun experience if you are getting into kayaking for the first time. I recommend it for a beginner.

The Kayak is pretty sturdy and stable. Me and my 8 year old daughter could set it up in 7 mins flat and could easily lift it to the launch location. It's a steal deal for that price point.

We got this boat hoping it would fit the 2 of us and our 6 yr old... it did, and without any problem! We even took our 50lb boxer for a spin in it, and his nails did not even mark the surface of the boat. With the scag in, it tracks quite nice. You sit out of the water enough to really get moving in quiet water. Love our new boat

For the price this is a great purchase. I have to agree with other comments on this product about the paddles, they seem to be a little weak if you really dig in while rowing. The paddles are 5 pieces that disconnect to fit into the travel bag, which is a plus for storage and transportation. They should be fine for average rowing but I was rowing upstream against the current and wind and could feel some give to the joints of the paddle. As for the kayak, my only complaint is that the seam is on the top of the tubes and my hand was irritated as they slid down the seam as I paddled. I had read complaints that the kayak wouldn't maintain a straight line but I found it very easy to navigate and maintain my intended line. It was also surprisingly stable. I am over 250 pounds and I had my daughter with me at around 75 pounds. We were both easily able to enter and exit the kayak and I switched between my daughter and younger son a few times without issue. I was a little concerned about an inflatable kayak, mainly due to durability. On the first trip out we got hung up on a submerged tree, just under the water line. I checked the kayak out thoroughly and couldn't even find a scuf mark on the underside. I had also read complaints on the pump which is included. It feels light and cheap but I had brought my electric air pump and found the air pump that is included was much faster than the electric pump. The kayak inflated rather quickly but there are several sections that need to be inflated so it does take a little time. Overal I believe this is a great purchase.

Came ahead of schedule. The included pump inflated the floor and 2 large hull chambers very quickly. The bow and stern areas were easy fills. The seats are adjustable and comfy and I'm over 6 feet tall. The paddles alone are $35 each if bought separate. So the cost of both is almost equal to the price of the whole kayak! Great value and many great YouTube reviews!

I did about a months research on a few different inflatable kayaks and always came to this one. I was a little Leary about buying it, because of where I would be using it. There tends to be high plant growth hiding just at water level which tends to be hard to see at times. I was concerned about getting a hole in bottom of kayak. Luckily one day I had been at the area where I want to use this and came across to guys who were using the same kayak! I got to see first hand what it was like before I bought it! So I bought it the next day! I just used it and I have no regrets. Lots of room, Max Weight is 400lbs. Oars are ok but are not long enough. I purchase a 96 inch paddle by shoreline. Which I recommend. Easy to inflate and doesn't take long. Since it was just me and alot of camera equipment I didn't bother putting second seat in. I am tall and had alot of room. The skeg even after running over a low area did not fall off. Steering is pretty good . All in all I think it is rated the best! Well worth it.

I don't have much experience kayaking, but bought this for kayaking in the mangroves. This is great quality for the price. I felt very safe in it (no worries about popping or tipping), it blows up very easily, and is a great solution for people who want to kayak but are low on funds and space.

I paid $2.97 extra for shipping to get it on 4/11/14. Actually got it on 4/14/14. You can't go wrong with an Intex product. I have used the River Run 1 for the past 5 years and consider it the best inner tube there is. I felt it was time to upgrade. The features I like about the K2 Explorer are: 1) The 2 hulls have separate air chambers. 2) Its self bailing. No dumping out water 3) All the extras that come in the package. 4) 36 inches wide compared to the other models being 30 to 33 inches wide.

Sturdy, easily inflatable kayak that's easy to set up and take down after a day of fun in the water. It comes with a case, repair kit, manual air pump and two oars that come apart for easy storage. Perfect for people that have limited space, small car or disabilities that do not permit having a hard shell kayak. I gave it four stars because the skeg is very long and will not let you navigate in shallow water. Not fun getting stuck and having to get out and drag the kayak. I ordered a smaller skeg off of ebay for this reason. I checked Intex's website and they offer no alternative or smaller skeg and when I called the company directly, the young lady on the other end was of no use and in no mood to answer two simple questions. She had no grasp of the products they sell, whatsoever. With that being said, for under $100 and if you can catch high tide, you're in business.

Not sure why I expected much in terms of quality based on the purchase price but I had r back in the box and ready to return an hour after I opened it. Fully inflated it never looked like the photo. I didn't have confidence that I could go very far in it. It states that it can hold up to 400lbs but it when you read closer it's only good for 330lbs of people or 1 person with gear equaling 400lbs. Misleading information in the description.
