This pool is great for little kids. We have two toddlers (3 %26 2) and a 13 year old, that all love to swim. The water height is perfect for the toddlers to walk around in the pool without a life vest or with one if they want to swim and paddle around. My oldest can go under, fully submerged, and move around a decent enough that he doesn't mind the overall "smallness" of the pool. It fit perfectly on our deck and took me a little over an hour to assemble. The water also warms up fairly quickly (within a few days), thanks to it being only 500 gallons. This does not come with a filter, so you'll want to purchase one to help keep it clean. We opted for a filter that cleans up to 1000 gph. I do wish that Intex made a small ladder specifically for these pools. the 36" ladders are honestly a little too large but do work, yet cost the same as the pool.... we are currently using step stools for the younger kids to get in and out.
I have had this pool for a couple months just sitting in the box waiting for the weather to warm up. This passed weekend we opened the box to set up the pool and there were no poles. We were disappointed as our granddaughter was here and she has been looking forward to using "the pink pool". I contacted Walmart Saturday about the missing poles. Today is Wednesday and the poles are here. Walmart and the shipping company came through quickly. I am very pleased with the outcome. The pool is very easy to assemble and set up is a breeze. It the perfect size for me and my grandchyto enjoy together.
I set this up in less than an hour. I will same that you need a strong someone to finish that last connection. My girls love it! Great option for kids!
Set up was a breeze! Pool is visually appealing and just the right size. I have an 11 year old and a 9 year old. They are enjoying splashing around and playing in this pool. We've drained it and cleaned it and refilled it once. Wasn't difficult. I posted about the pool on Facebook and many of my friends loved it and asked me where I got it. Overall, I'd say it's a great buy! We're very satisfied.
It's great for 2-3 grownups to soak and chill during the heat of the day in the desert southwest. I paid 107 USD, well worth the money. The chihuahua approves. I recommend purchasing 2 tarps along with it; one for the bottom and one to cover it. The metal frame is strong and holds up a full pool just fine. The corners have triangular shelves to place a glass of water or your eyeglasses on. it didn't come with a pump, just a plastic attachment to put a filter in, I'm guessing. The drain hole sits at about 5 inches from the bottom so not too convenient to drain those last 5 inches of water. Dolphins blowing up in my pool would be too messy. I just wrote this sentence to include the words suggested to be used in this review.
my girls love this pool perfext.size
Everything about the pool is fantastic. Great quality, light, easy to set up. Mine did not come with a pump is the reason for the 4 star rating My daughter loves it.
This is a wonderful pool. It's so much better than the inflatable one that I had previously. My husband had a few challenges with the set-up, but nothing that couldn't be worked out in a relatively short time. My only issues are with the drain. The drain is not located at the very bottom of the pool. As a result, there will still be 6 inches or so of water left when the pool is finished draining. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to get that out. Also, the interior drain flap kept closing as the water was rushing out. This was a major frustration. It's not like I could stand there for hours holding the flap open. I finally used a hose that came with an electric air pump. The hose had different adapters for inflation purposes. I attached the longest adapter onto the hose, and it was able to protrude far enough into the drainage hole to keep it open. This has happened with many pools that I have had. I don't know why the manufacturers aren't addressing this. I can't be the only one that this happens to. This pool did not come with a pump.
while cleaning out the corner broke.
Poorest quality you can imagine
