i purchased this for me and my son (10) to be able to go out on the lake and have a different experience from just standing on the bank. i also bought this to help teach him how to paddle a kayak and manoeuver it. i like that it's inflatable so i don't have to worry about how I'm going to attach a giant boat to my car or how to lift it. this kayak was easy to inflate (about 10min) by myself and deflate. i use towels to help dry it after taking out of the water. i have had no problems with it after several trips around the lake. it seems sturdy (someone likes to rock the boat) and long lasting.
Quick and easy!! I got this for my 9 year old and I on our vacation and not only was it easy set up via the included hand-pump, I could handle it myself and carry it down the embankment by the river easy-peasy %26 I barely weigh 100-lbs and only 5'2”. The best part, aside from how well it handled was we could quickly deflate it and roll it up in the included bag and pack it in my tiny car's trunk and carry on! I highly recommend this 2-person kayak!
Love it!!! we bought it for our daughter's 14th birthday party at the lake. And she had a ball with her friends. It only took a minute to get it blown up and we haven't had to replace the air yet. The boys were rough but the kayak held up under the pressure!
These were amazingly sturdy and stable. Way easier to get in and out of than a plastic one. The directions were clear, but make sure you read them because each section needs to be blown up in order. It's easy to inflate and then deflate and put right back in the carrying bag.
It wasn't too bad to put together and very cute to ride
Great good material came with pump very easy
The adjustable seats were not very comfortable, recommend reinforcing the seat backs in some way maybe! But after making 2 trips on the Flint River and 1 trip on a local creek, it's still in one piece and holds air! For the amount of money we paid for this, we have definitely gotten our money's worth in fun with this inflatable kayak. It is quality construction and inflating it is simple and quick with the included hand pump. It also includes high quality paddles.
Great kayak, appreciated the portability and the fact that it all goes nicely into the included storage bag. The only thing I would change is having bigger valves on all of the chambers, it took a long time to deflate the bottom because it only had a very small valve.
Deflated… literally and emotionally - Took this brand-new kayak out to the lake, dreams of adventure in my eyes - only to find it wouldn't inflate. After several attempts (and a few choice words), I discovered a leak near the valve. So instead of paddling peacefully, I got a front-row seat to the “Return Process Hassle.” Came back wetter from sweat than I would've from kayaking.
First time use —> there's a hole on the side! We didn't even use on rough surface. It's at a bay and white sand! Terrible material
