Great product to make your cooking game better

Benjamin December 14, 2025

So I have owned one of these for well over a year. It works as advertised. My Chef IQ and myself have made perfectly cooked steaks on the grill all summer. We also made a couple of perfectly cooked rib roasts. For Thanksgiving we made a perfectly cooked and juicy spatchcock Turkey. If the thermometer is not perfect. A 20%23 Turkey that cooks in a little over an hour will be bloody or dry up FAST. So much enjoy using this. The one delivered today is a gift for my son.

Exciting

Jeffrey B May 13, 2026

Unboxing was quite exciting! Just opening it was almost like opening an Apple product! Very organized and visually appealing! I like the fact that it has 2 probes so that me and my wife can cook our steaks at the same time with 2 different doneness! Can't wait to give it a try!

A Little Difficult to Get Started

Robert C May 23, 2026

1. No description anywhere of the watts required for the charger. I settled on 5w to be safe. 2. Product number was hard to identify for the warranty application. 3. Didn't realize Bluetooth was essential, not optional or that i needed to have both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to operate. Finally figured it all out after an hour or so. BTW: Best pork chops I ever made!

Ambient temp doesn't work well

Like. fairly easy to use. temp displayed seems acurate Dislike. - it lost wifi connection on an overnight cook - the interface is clunky and tried to sell you crap - is missing key temp alarm for resting down to temp. has a timer instead which is stupid because ever phone using the app has a timer built in. - should have a high and low temp alarm for internal temp. only had high temp. - alarm sucks. should use phones alarm settings like an alarm clock. if you doze off you will NOT hear the alert. - estimated time to finish is jumps all over the place especially near the end. it is a useless waste of space on the screen. - the main screen shows the inaccurate est finsh time and NOT the internal temp. this one baffles my mind. soooo stupid - you should be able to pinch zoom the graph and reset the start time of the graph in mid cook with out resetting the entire cook setup. this is when you move the probe from one meat to another meat. - the talking dock is pointless. it should talk through the phone. the whole point to being wireless is to not be within earshot of the cook so the time. in conclusion. the probe does a good job of measuring the temp and displaying on the phone. everything else looks like a child developed it. it is a crappy interface that could easily be a good one with some modifications. steer away from the bling and show no nonsense data. But the biggest issue is lossing connection to the wifi THAT IS A SHOW STOPPER. i know everything drops a connection once is a great while. but this unit does not reconnect. i have to restart it and there is no alarm on the phone to let me know. therefore. i recommend looking at another brand and skipping this one. I'll use my 15 year old RF thermometer that simply works.
