We love smoking foods and these apple flavored smoking chips are one of our favorites! Easy to use. Great with all foods and meats. It produces a mild, sweet smoke flavor that will leave your mouth watering for more! It is a clean wood that is consistent in flavor. Affordable on a family budget.

Just the facts: The first thing I noticed about Western Premium Smoking Chips is that they did not cause any noticeable amount of moisture build up in the smoker, which for me means they are dried long enough during the manufacturing process to remove most, if not all of the natural moisture in the wood. This has been an issue I've had over the years with other popular brands of smoking chips not dried long enough in my opinion. Moisture (black liquid smoke) would drip down leaving a nasty, bitter taste on the food. With that said, we honestly enjoy the flavor and the short time it takes for the chips to start smoking in our Little Chief smoker. We'll continue using Western Premium Smoking Chips as long as they keep the price reasonable. - Happy Smoking!

Exactly what I was searching for. Never used a smoker before and it called for wood chips. Worked perfectly for my smoker.

It is a bag of woodchips. It was on sale. It is pretty hard to have poor quality on woodchips. They were very much wood like.

Pricing is almost always better at Walmart than regular grocery. I also like that I have other items delivered with my grocery products like, picture frame, tools and plumbing products. All right to my front door at the time I requested.

Arrived in original packaging. Easy to use, soak overnight, place closest to smoker chunks and what awesome savory scents and taste this product gives to the ambient air and meat!

Well I've tried all these different types of the wood chips/shavings and I can tell you that they burned up before I got a chance to try them lol All fun aside they all are…clean wood mostly all the same size and after soaking they preformed well in adding a good clean burning smoke while delivering a good flavored smoke product. Highly recommend

One of my favorite to add to grilling

I have been buying western mini logs for a few years. They work great in my big smoker. However as of late there has been more bark than wood in my bags. Seems the price is going up amd the amount of logs in a bag are getting smaller. Not cool. Let's get back to full bags of wood please.
