Expert Grill Charcoal Briquettes, 16 lb

This is the best charcoal I have been able to find at any price but it's priced very reasonably. Great value for the money. Also anyone out there still using lighter fluid ,check out Walmarts chimneys . You'll never have to buy lighter fluid again or taste it when you eat your food

My husband said that the Charcoal lights easily, it usually is ready to use in 15 minutes but 20 minutes at the most, and it works well. The food that he grills always has a good flavor with no weird overpowering charcoal taste. It's also a very good price.

These burn hotter longer than K--- brand. Keep that in mind if try it-- will need 20% or so fewer briqs. or raise grill a bit more. We use tin foil to wrap corn or make 'veggie packs' with mixed, and grill those first, move to smoker rack, and then grill the meat. These will last long enough for that extra time, and still be well hot enough for the steaks or other. FYI the bags have the old fashioned 'peanut sack' string stitching that requires pulling one end to pull out the stitching. I 'get it' but a box cutter slice under the stitches will save you the frustration if you don't-- used with caution of course. The maker could profitably print a hint (color code, etc.) on the 'pull here' end of the stitching (on the bag) it seems to me.

I SHOULD HAVE READ the notes on the bag.! I was smoking a 10 1/2 %23 pork butt to make smoked pulled pork. I used my usual timing, and Luckily, I checked it earlier than normal. It was cooking ahead of schedule. The notes on the bag clearly states Burns Hotter. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT, SO IT STILL TURNED OUT GREAT THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AT A DECENT PRICE POINT.

I bought this briquit to see how it worked and its done well for grilling. I was pleasantly surprised! We can bbq for 11 out of 12 months here but getting supplies can be hard and at the end of the traditional season its anyones guess what is available. This ones a keeper!

Great price for picnic style grills at camp sites! The price was $10 cheaper than at my local grocery store. Made 2-3 meals plus stayed warm for smores, on 1 bag, but needed lighter fluid or a fire starter at the bottom of the charcoal to light. Shipping arrived in a box and bag was clean and intact. Will definitely order again!

Although I like to experiment with more premium charcoal from time to time, this is my everyday go to. Can't beat it for the price. It's ready in 15-20 minutes in my charcoal chimney. Lights great with a single Royal Oak tumbleweed starter.

These days we need to think of how to keep our bills down. It has been awhile sense I have cooked outside, so I figure I would add to my list to start cooking on the grill. Wasn't sure which charcoal to purchase I figured I would try the Expert Grill Charcoal. I could not believe how fast it lite and stayed lite till the charcoal were ready. I would purchase again

The Expert Grill Charcoal Briquets light fast and burn hot, just like you'd want. It's a cheaper alternative to the more expensive name brands, and honestly, I've been pleasantly surprised. So far, I haven't gotten a bad batch and everything's worked well. I use it occasionally, and it definitely gets the job done without breaking the bank. Not perfect, but a solid option.

I did not receive this item...I thought maybe it would come in another order but it has not come. please deliver it to me before the 4th of July dinner.
