The barriers definitely stop the vacuum from going past the beam. Walmart was the cheapest place to buy the dual pair, even cheaper that Amazon. They are brand new and work great.

Love my virtual walls! Have 3 of these and looking to buy another! They work great. They keep my roomba exactly where I want her, and keeps her from venturing where I don't. I don't understand these bad reviews. Make sure your roomba is compatible. Take out of the package and set either straight line wall or halo wall. Excellent product!

I have 3 virtual wall units, my first one I've had for 3 years and it is still working perfectly. I can create an exact area for my Roomba to run without worrying about it venturing somewhere it isn't supposed to be.

I found it was a better price for the two pack than others on line. It does keep the machine in the areas I want cleaned. This is a replacement because my other set stopped working after 10 years. The only complaint is isn't included in the newer machines.

Thank you to those that aren't tech savy. I found my two units at the Goodwill for $4. Replaced batteries and they work as advertised. The straight wall settings have an offset of about 12" from expected line.

I recently purchased these as the ones that came with my original machine stopped working. The old ones covered larger distances than these new ones. I still have an old one that works so I use that and have to use the two that I bought together to cover the distance of my rooms. They work well just not for where I need them.

I've had the robot for two days. It does a decent job cleaning. In my case bought it to clean dog hair. I've noticed it has a hard time finding the dock, so it has to be picked up and put in front of the dock so it goes in it. Company has to work on improving this.

Seems to work but flimsy. Right out the box the battery cover does not hold and the sticker that should be removed from the sides of the unit are stuck and leave residue when trying to remove.
