So I can't really tell y'all much about how the product works. It feels well made and the grey part is soft. Sadly, I a different series Braava Hey so these didn't fit.
Got the m6 in dec 21 and the wet mop worked great so I bought more mop heads. The new ones also do a fantastic job. I go through a couple mop pads a day and have had no issues. I was cleaning them in the washer the first week but it's quicker just to spray them in the sink with a little soap. I'll probably buy a few more mop pads since I use this every day. I also have a roomba vac so I set the vac to clean followed by the mop. I tried different floor cleaners but they all left sticky residue so now I use a little vinegar and water once a week and just water the other days. We have dogs and a lot of people in and out so the mop gets used every day.
I love my Brava M6. I have had it over 2 years. I read review where someone said mop pad didn't stay on. You more than likely were not sliding it in the grooves. READ THE DIRECTIONS! Mop does an amazing job on over 2000 sq ft hardwood floors with 2 large shepard dogs and a 2 yr old. We use on a regular basis. I wash my reusable pads in the sink with soap. I wouldn't recommend leaving a dirty wet pad on machine, yuck. I believe it would get smelly which was in another review! Take dirty pad off when its done and you won't have to worry about an odor.
I have been using my Braava for over a year and I love it to the point that I bought a second one; it came with this new Bona pad. It is INCREDIBLE to see how much dirt it collects... The only thing I noticed is that compared to "classic" blue one, this one starts smelling if it is forgotten on the unit (that's why 4 stars instead of 5). I do wash the pad regularly and I even soaked it in vinegar, but a slight smell seems to linger...
I love reviews. I always see whats going on and they inform my buying decision. I saw the problems with the sensors in earlier reviews. I have had the Braava Jet m6 since Jan. 2022 and I always use the washable wet pad. So far I have washed out the wet pad around 4 or 5 times. It always works for me so I'm guessing they have worked out the sensors issues. My floors don't get too dirty and so far the mop has done a great job. I use the recommended Bona floor cleaner. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cleaner liquid tank is too small. I have a large area of floor to mop and I have to refill the tiny little tank twice or three times to get my floors done. While it does mop fairly quietly I do wish the tank were a bit larger.
This is my first robot mop and so far I like it. The pad that came with it works well. I have not had any issues with it. I like that I can wash it and reuse it. Going to buy a couple more so I can switch them out.
It is great the first or second time but the plastic part of the pad can become warped after a wash or two making it unusable. Very disappointing given the "washing it 500 times" description. The M6 is great, this pad leaves a little to be desired.
The pads do a good job collecting dirt. However, the plastic part that attaches to the mop becomes curved and distorted when you wash them causing them to either not attach at all because they don't fit in the grooves, or the mop doesn't recognize that they are attached because the holes don't line up correctly.
This reusable microfiber pad that ships with the Braava jet m6 does not get recognized as being installed, unlike the disposable wet/dry pads that work without issue. According to comments over a year ago, this problem apparently has not been addressed. Would love to not have to throw away, let alone waste money on one-time use cleaning pads. This issue needs to escalated and resolved. The m6 mop itself is fantastic.
I've tried a few different packs of these. All of them work for about 5 minutes then the braava stops and says "attach a pad, then press clean" From reviews online i've seen that this is an ongoing issue. Something to do with the pad being warped and pulling away from the sensor preventing the machine from reading it. Seems like a simple fix, don't know why they haven't fixed it yet.
