So far so good. It fits perfectly under the counter of the bar in the kitchen next to a plug so I do not have to use batteries. The bar height is within range of the sensor, so that part has to stick out a little bit, but that is okay because it is at the end of the bar anyway so that there is room to put trash in it. It is a 14 gallon bin, so the entire 13 gallon bag fills up before you have to change it. Overall, it is a good buy.

LOVE IT!!!! Holds large bag and has sliding top so doesn't require alot of space to open. Batteries last a very long time or get the AC plug in . I have now bought 4 iTouchless trash cans and love them all!! ITouchless brand is the one to get for reliability and quality.

We've been searching for a well-made, affordable trash can that's just the right size for our kitchen, and this is it! It actually looks classy (as far as trash cans go!) and it fits more trash than our last trash can. We are very pleased with this purchase!

And above all, uses batteries OR electricity. Some of the reviews I read on other makes and from different retailers were complaining about how the batteries don't last very long. With this one, you can use batteries, or plug it in. Also, if you want to just keep the top open, you can unplug it when it's open and it stays open. Another thing, it will accommodate

I bought this a month ago. I was always complaining to my wife because the other one, the top always has to flip up and be put on the outside of the cabinet and being in the way. This one I can slide under the overhang of the cabinet and not worry about the top not being able to open. Just wave your hand and Wala, Open says a me. Awesome !

Electric Garbage Can great concept the only thing is it's quite noisy. If we could cut down on the noise I would give it 5 stars. I do like that you are hands free and don't have to touch lids or anything like that. And the plus is it's electric and if you don't have an outlet in the right spot you can use batteries. Love having not to get my hands dirty.

I purchased this trash can because the size and shape were perfect for my space. I am so disappointed. The first night I had it the lid opened and closed every 5 minutes, until I got out of bed and unplugged it. Read the user's manual and tried all the "fixes" but nothing worked. Tried calling the manufacturer at the number provided in the user manual. No luck. No one was ever around to answer my call. Contacted Sam's and will be returning it. Too bad.

The opening started to make squeaking noises and then stopped working. Could smell a burning coming from the back of the can where you plug in the connector. It's going back.

Worked great for about 10 minutes then stopped working completely I’ll be returning it as soon as possible I will not purchase another I’ll get a refund and buy something else I got this one because it plugs into the wall and thought that would be nice not to have to replace batteries but now I’m thinking I should have gone with the other unit I was looking at completely disappointed

Doesn't last long BEWARE!! I've had this for a month before it stopped closing. would never recommend this short lasting phenom. very loud when closing but it only opens by itself and never closes anymore. laziest trash ever. out of 30 day return period so I got stuck with this peice of crap. they don't even sell on Amazon anymore and I understand why. save your money and move on to the next one. I have 3 others in my house for years . just change the batteries.
