I bought mine 3 years ago. The latest fan purchase was for my neighbor. She saw mine in operation and fell in love with it. She didn't have a credit card so she asked me to order one for her. She is still in love with it.

I had a hand me down tower that had a broken pedestal but still performed well so I bought the exact fan only u updated lighter but still reliable will make Holmes fan products my first choice with ventalation and cooling needs.

This is my second tower fan. My first one (5 yrs old) was broken when housekeeping removed everything to shampoo my carpet. I have really enjoyed the fan all these years.

Four screws hold the stand it sits on ,lightweight but sturdy.Doesn't take up a lot of room.

Cools the space down quietly. Placed in the doorway between my den and living room, this tower fan doesn't take up much space.

This fan outputs little to NO breeze and when it does, the pattern is irregular meaning only the top 12 inches of the grill is producing air flow. When it does produce breeze you lose it standing 2 feet away. It would be hard to manufacture a more pathetic device. Avoid this item.

I bought this fan about a month ago and from the minute I plugged it in I disliked it. All three settings seem the same speed and the highest is equivalent to a paper fanning me down. If it wasn't such a hassle to send back and return it I would.

This has got to be the worst excuse for a tower fan I have ever seen. It can't be tightened to the base so it wobbles terribly. If the fan is set to oscillate on the highest speed it can fall over. This is not a safe fan and barely pushes any air at all even at the highest setting. That may be because the air only moves out from the sides instead of from the middle like one would expect.

wouldn't recommend it ! I own another one (different brand) with twice the power...
