Capsule is large but smooth so it is easy to swallow

Because of my husband's age he takes Ubiquinol rather than CO-Q-10. He leaves the purchasing up to me. I look for quality before value. I trust Jarrow products. Jarrow has the quality, Swanson has the value. Prices are very competitive and the mail order service is unbelievable speedy. Ordering couldn't be easier. H.

I have been using Jarrow Formulas ubiquinol for over 10 years. After much research and trying several brands I use Jarrow exclusively. FYI when you cut open a ubiquinol softgel you should find a milky white/off-white substance. This is what ubiquinol looks like. If it is a yellow to clear liquid it has oxidized and is no longer pure ubiquinol. Swanson seems to have consistently low prices on this product I order it from them often.

I read that Jarrow's Ubiquinol was superior to many other brands - so decided to go with it and give it a try. I have not finished my first bottle yet. My husband and I both (in our 70's) are taking it as well as a man in his late 80's - I think to be fair we need a couple of months to give it our best review but so far, I have nothing bad to say - but the BEST thing I - for myself wish to shout - is that though it is a large capsule, I can bite into it, chew it, the outside dissolves easily and it has no disagreeable taste - so I never miss taking it. I do not swallow large tablets or caps easily - need to chew them to get them down with water or food. a BIG plus for me.

Great ubiquinol dietary supplement for the price. I will continue to use it. I would recommend this product.

I use Swanson's Ubiquinol 200 mg. every day. It only comes in a 30 size. I found this 60 size from Jarrow, so for what I was hoping would be a convenient decision, I bought this product. The price was good. I have used Jarrow products for a long time, and I consider them a good company with good products at generally good prices. Big mistake in this case. The capsules were crammed into a bottle with a very tight fit. There were no desiccants inside. If this were the winter, that might have worked out okay, but in the 100 degree heat of summer, during shipping from Jarrow in California to Swanson in North Dakota, and then from North Dakota on to me, the capsules became so overheated and sticky that they melted / melded into a gelatinous mass in the bottle. Jarrow should have used a bigger bottle so the capsules were not pressed / crammed in there against one another so tightly. This might have prevented them all getting stuck together. Or maybe not, but certainly not as badly. Not using good sense in planning their packaging / bottling. Not paying attention. Very poor quality control. I called both Swanson and Jarrow. I explained the situation. Nothing was done, other than a, "Sorry about that," sort of response. Very disappointing. Nutritional Supplement Companies need to pay attention to the seasons / weather / heat. It DOES matter.
