JBL Charge 5 - Portable Waterproof Speaker with Powerbank - Black

I was seeking a speaker that was small enough to travel with, lightweight, and with great sound, and plenty of battery life. This speaker checks all boxes. I originally tried the Sony equivalent but found this one much better. I would buy it again.

I use this on a golf cart when I visit another country. Sound is great, long battery life. Definitely recommend this speaker.

The Charge 5s are awesome with deep bass, great midrange and nice highs. The wattage is up there for indoors and they work well outside also. The only cons are that you cannot utilize the downloadable app to equalize when they are paired.

I love it. Depending on the occasion I can have it on loud or soft. Bought a black one years ago and somehow i overcharged it and couldn't use it unless it was on a charger so I bought the red one and it works great and I will NOT overcharge this one. Great buy just don't keep it plugged in…

I bought this JBL last year and brought it on my deployment—very popular speaker for military. During my deployment we were attacked constantly and my building was hit. It then rained for 2 days straight. When it was safe I recovered my speaker, let it dry out, and it still worked. This brought the morale up not only for myself, but also for the other 100 military cops just trying to survive with me. I'm forever a lifelong JBL customer due to this and would highly recommend this product to anyone!

I purchased this after having the flip 5 . Unfortunately the smaller unit gave up the ghost. I was going to purchase a new one when I found the charge 5 with a very good price and decided to spend a little more. The sound is better the bass booms well and gives more volume. We spend a lot of time on the patio listening to music and this unit does what I am looking for.

Absolute horrible experience, received speaker with missing products didn’t look brand new at all. Box didn’t have original tape on side almost as if it was tampered with before shipping. Photo can show how product was suppose to be received (grey speaker) and how I received mine (red speaker). Went to Walmart to switch it out for a new unopened one, was accused of taking product and was unable to switch at store was only given a “e-gift card”. I am a fellow Walmart associate and completely left disgusted with this whole transaction.

Never got my speaker! Went to wrong address tried talking to wallmart robot and said there was nothing they could do! So my credit card is working on arefund!
