This is my first soud bar , after multiple months searching I finally bought during sale. I would recommend this if you’re looking best budget friendly just go for this. I bought this soundbar based on my another jbl speaker experience and jbl never disappoints. Sound quality is nice when you watch netflix and other good quality audio from youtube.
Set up using HDMI(ARC port) into our Samsung TV made this simple. No bluetooth pairing needed and works instantly which is nice. Used a bass heavy song to vet a feel for the subwoofer and it was easy enough to tell there seems to be four settings with the remote as the button for bass on this products remote shows for shapes getting larger to imply four settings. I would highly recommend this. I dont know the dimensions of our living room where we are using it unfortunately but I will say we can now watch tv and not feel the need to turn captions on.
I brought the SB 580 and 550 and I installed this in my living room and it makes my living room sounds like a real theater and if you’re looking for that base that sound quality definitely go with the 580 I put the 550 on my backyard patio, which was great quality sound for sitting out there still gives that base but not like the 580 if you’re looking for theatrical and entertainment go 580
Hooked up fast mount it, hook up HDMI cord, then your optical cable, then turn it on go to your settings on your tv for Bluetooth pair with the Bluetooth logo on remote controller connected done. Easy instructions and sounds amazing. We had a LG for 8 years and it finally stopped working so my his loves JBL so we got it was on sale this week. Perfect timing
Pretty good voice quality definitely an upgrade from the tv , and when i want bass i just press a button definitely recommend
I've literally spent the last month trying to find, at the very least, a decent sound bar w/subwoofer. I gave some new brands a shot in addition to the more established ones. I tried Vizio, Sony, Ultimea, and Samsung, but they either had technical struggles, or flat out defective parts (in the case of Ultimea's subwoofer literally being busted/dead). This JBL bar has finally been what I was looking for though! 3.1 channel with a wireless sub that actually works?! I'm in heaven. It may not be as *rich" as a 5.1 channel bar, but for this price and these specs......it's by far the most superior in its class! Glad I finally found a good one in this sound bar after all the other duds.
My grandmother loves this soundbar setup. They are affordable, but they still sound really good. They were a cinch to install in her trailer. They are the perfect size for the space. They even had the trailer vents rattling a little when I pumped them up. Great value!
Easy to install. Powers on automatically when I turn on the tv and can connect to my phone/tablet if I just want music
i like the price for the quality, sometimes subwoofer doesn't connect but a quick restart fixes it and also would like more bass but the bass is still good for price
Bummer, wont turn on after only 2 months of use. Tried everything, unplug reboot, different power cord, etc, nothing, sounded great while it lasted. Maybe its just bad luck or I shouldnt have expected much for the low price. But only 2 months? Wow.
