Fantastic Device.
I love Roku streaming devices. How about this as a replacement for my old one that is 5 years old. They are wonderful and save lots of dollars over cable and satellite.. We can get all the TV we will ever want or need. This one arrived just hours after I ordered it. Installed and running in minutes.

Back to my Roku setup
Received a new ONN Vizio tv as a Christmas gift, but their operating system was a little harder to figure out, so after about a month I decided to try the Roku Streaming Stick. When it arrived I found a port on the tv to set it up and following the quick setup guide was immediately back to my Roku system I was familiar with.

Extraordinary Customer Service
Walmart, Simi Valley, CA has perfected the formula to provide extraordinary Customer Service and prices their products such that customers receive the greatest value for their money. I have recommended the Roku Stick to others and I continue to recommend Walmart , Simi Valley, CA

You can use it on you old smart tv . No need to buy a new tv. Just wish it came with the power brick. I had to order one from Amazon as my older tv did have a usb outlet. Roku box doesnt say that until you open the package . So if you have an older model smart tv order the USB .

Love everything but the false advertisement on box
It was very simple to set up! Very happy with my purchase, although they advertise a 30 day free trial for hallmark with the purchase of the Roku, on the box. There is even a little paper in the box stating the same thing, but no email for the 30 free trial, no link for the 30 day free trial after signing up for a Roku account. If you get in touch with Walmart, they tell you to get in touch with Roku. You get in touch with Roku, they tell you to get in touch with Walmart about the issue. Neither company seems to want to help, so I just gave up. Other than that no complaints yet. Love how you can personalize everything. You can even create a guest account to you don’t have to sign out of any of your apps or risk your algorithm being messed up. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something simple for such a good price.

A Little Tricky
Well, it was delivered in the secured package; and, we had to take it back to Walmart to get it unlocked. The connection process was relatively easy except it required access codes sent to my daughter's cell phone. After that debacle, set up was easy. I still need to get the access codes from my daughter for some of the apps - her cell phone not mine. I'm still a land line user and would prefer that codes be sent via email.

Ordered a new stick and received used registered to someone else with dead batteries in the remote. If ONN gets a pause button I'm switching because of the offensive content flooding Roku lately and their messing with the settings after I've made my selections. won't be purchasing from Walmart again.

wanted to update my equipment. Have everything set up but nothing happened. I call Roku customer service . First red flag, person didn't know what it was. second red flag,He told me my account was suspicious. Why? He proceeded to tell me that several different states were coming from my account. third red flag, He asked me to download an app that would give him access to my phone. I asked several questions ,he was irritated Asked "Don't you trust me"? The account should be on his end to reset. Needless to say I hung up. called security checks. Nothing showed up. What to do now?

False adverting by Roku
The front of the box says that there is an offer for a 30 day free trial of Hallmark . This is a lie by Roku. They do NOT offer this even though it is clearly marked on the front of the box. After spending a very long time in a Roku chat they refused to honor the 30 day trial offered on the box. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. Roku falsely advertised on the box and the offer inside of the box said the promotion was good until the end of the year. The Roku agents claimed that the offer wasn't available for this model even though it clearly is shown on the front of the box. F-

Package was never opened , took it back to store with receipt and could not get my money back! Someone was supposed to put it on my tv and did not and at 74 years old myself I did not know how to install lt and still I could not get my money back! I usually order from Walmart several times a week but now that I ran into this encounter I may change my ordering status with the store!!
