Jensen JEN-JMC-180A Wall Mount CD Players

purchased this for my brother for his bedroom. he is ill and not able to get out much so we are trying to make his life as comfortable as possible in each room. he set this up in his bedroom - fits on his nightstand and gives him to ability to listen to his cd's while he falls asleep or when he wakes during the night and is unable to fall back to sleep. Like he said, it's not what you would want as your main system, but for the bedroom on a lower volume it's great.

Nice Player and sounds good but you would think that if it has an input for MP3 players that the CD Player would play MP3s but it does not a big down fall and shipping was slow! It is a bit smaller and definitely lighter than expected. A slightly longer power cord would have been appreciated since I hung it on a wall - it was just a few inches short of reaching the outlet. The lit blue screen is hard to see if not directly in front of it, at eye level. Have only used it a few times and works for my needs.

I was looking for a small cheap stereo for my 2yo daughters room, I want to be able to play her CDs at night, radio during the day and have the option of plugging in an mp3 player as well. So far this fits the bill, it was a breeze to put together without even looking at the instructions, and seems to be doing its job just fine! The only criticism I have right now is I wish the remote included controls for the volume, as that is likely the only thing we'd really use it for.

Love the set. Worked perfectly in my home office. Once I moved it to the bedroom my favorite station would not come in - will probably have to relocated to another area of bedroom (and adjust the cord/wire antennae) but my second favorite station comes in perfectly. Sound is "great", have not used cd yet. For anyone that is wondering this radio does not have a "metal" antennae. Overall I am very satisfied. Have not been disappointed in anything I have ordered from Walmart.com. In the last thirty days I've ordered about $300 worth of merchandise - five stars rating for EVERYTHING and I happen to be VERY picky.

I bought this for my office (there was no sound card in my PC), speakers sound a little tinny, but I had a better set that I plugged in and frankly wasn't expected a BOSE system sound for the low price I paid. I like the fact that is either stand alone or wall mounted. When I leave this job, I'll have a nice little bedroom stereo, as there is a built in alarm clock. Attractive little unit, good price, works for my needs.

I ordered this stereo for my room since I've gone without one for so long. It came in the mail, barely two days after ordering. It came very quickly! The main complaint about the whole thing I have is that the CD player didn't even work... the radio worked pretty well, but I tried and tried and the CD player would run, scan the disks, and then reply with an Error message. We ended up taking it back to our local Walmart and got a different stereo system. An ONN and it works really well. The sound is great, the CD player and Radio work well on this one. Plus, I like the ONN disk opener much better. the Jensen was very cheaply made, I was almost worried I'd break it! :O

bought the stereo for my parents they loved it the only problem i have is that the volume is so low had it turned up all the way and father had trouble still hearing it hes a little hard of hearing but other than that my parents were really happy with it just needs more volume would by it again its a nice sytem lite weight and easy to transfer

When I set it up the clock didn't show in the dark. I didn't like that, but it might have been because it wasn't working right and I didn't know it. The sound was very good for the size. I thought it sounded excellent. I don't know how well the alarm or how anything else works because it never went off. When I woke up the next morning the clock was showing in the dark, but I couldn't get any sound out of it. I unplugged it and tried to play the CD. i could barely hear the sound when I turned it all the way up. But when I tried the radio I lost all sound and couldn't get the CD to play again until I unplugged it - - again. I had to return it.

The system is easy to assemble. It seemed to run well for the first hour. The sound from it suddenly diminished in volume and a distorted sound came out. Power cycling didn't help. I also noticed sound was only coming out of one speaker. Swapping speaker jacks showed only one output working. I'm very disappointed in this product.
