JENSEN MCR-1500 Portable Stereo CD Player and Dual-Deck Cassette Player/Recorder with AM/FM Radio

I would've much preferred radio tuner being digital option (if that's the right wording) instead of knob selector (which I find old school style or could be of better quality as it feels loose to me). Overall sound quality is nice for my senior ears. I've tried the cd and both cassette decks for music play only, I've not yet tried to record music to cassette tape. I do appreciate the versatility of this unit as I've many cds and cassette tapes.

I like it serves my purpose greatly…solid well made well packed /shipping was on time! Sound is good but not great…added a blue tooth speaker by hardline works beautifully.

Great sound! As far as i can tell? the tapes work great! my only complaint is it doesnt feature a built in mic! it does however feature 3 jacks which is excellent! like 2 yrs ago? i bought a smaller boombox that had an aux jack but no headphones! this one has a mic, headphones %26 aux jack on it! it would still be nice to have had a built in mic alongside the jack as well! very well built radio %26 doesnt feel cheap! havent had a chance to test it outdoors yet but will as soon as i can! this is where i really test radios sound? because this where i test to see how well or loud, or distorted the sound is coming from it! Yes i test radios for this! As far as a single room is concerned? its won me over here!

It has many uses. its beautiful. I get many compliments.

NICE LITTLE BOOM BOX. WISH IT HAD A MORE POWERFUL SOUND! ONLY PROBLEM IS; IT TAKES 8 DOUBLE D BATTERIES!!!

Did not like the am/fm dial. No way to tell where you are on the frequency. Otherwise ok. A little disappointed in the sound, considering its a Jensen.

unit works good. it could be improved by lower price or improvements on controls (cassette door and speaker quality. ) overall a nice compact unit.

It is wonderful if I wanted to make cassette tapes but I don't I was hoping to make my tapes into CD's and have to buy more cords or a usb cassette converter to accomplish my goal but this unit gives me the other needed components to get it done.

i have had two of these over the years. great sound, great radio reception. i couldnt wait to get this . however, though the radio was great and the cd has great sound, the cassette players have a problem, not coming through the speakers. i was very disappointed to have to send it back

Nothing works but only the radio. Very disappointing.
