Jinx Salmon, Sweet Potato, & Carrot Grain Free Dry Dog Food, 4 lb Bag

I used to feed my dog purina pro plan for a long time. After a while I noticed she struggled with constipation and apparent tummy aches (she ate grass and puked often). Her breath and she was also smelly. She slowly stopped eating it, I could tell she just wasn’t healthy or feeling good. So I researched good and healthy brands of dog food and found this brand was in the top ten of best dog foods. Since switching her, no more tummy aches, has normal bowel movements daily, eats more often, no longer stinky, her coat looks healthy, and her eating is consistent! I can tell she enjoys the food, she has more energy and looks healthy. Although it is an expensive brand and she goes through it a lot quicker than her previous food, I know it’s worth her health and life longevity!

My Bailey is hard to please he is okay at first then turns his head. He seems to be doing okay on this and been eating it for several months. I used to buy it somewhere else till I found the price was so much better here at Walmart. I do put a topper on it to keep him interested. He also has bad allergies he has done well with this dog food. No biting or licking his feet with this food. And you can't beat the price. His coat is so shining and seems to have no digestion problems. His poo comes out normal.

Listen, I've been in a long-term food war with my Blue Heeler, Buddy. This dog is 13 years old and has turned his nose up at everything from gourmet kibble to food that costs more per pound than my own groceries. I even boiled chicken breasts and mashed it all up with sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, %26 spinach. He's basically Gordon Ramsay in dog form—minus the British accent but with way more attitude. Speaking of noses, we have turned ours up at the special smells that come from him after eating. He gets gassy. I want to turn him in for a rose with thorns, even. Enter Jinx Salmon Sweet Potato Carrot Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. I don't know what sorcery they put in this bag, but Buddy licks his lips (do dogs have lips?) and walks up to me like, “You know what time it is.” That's his signal. That's how I know it's the chosen food. We've been on this epic “Will He Eat It?” journey for over a decade. I've wasted enough money to fund a small food truck. But now? NOW? This boy actually eats. Willingly. Happily. Like a dog who's just discovered joy for the first time. The joy I get is breathing normal air again because Jinx is easy on his old tummy and the bouts of south wind have almost completely stopped. To the creators of Jinx: thank you for giving my dog a reason to look forward to mealtime—and for giving me my sanity and fresh air back. If Buddy could write this review himself, he'd give it 5 stars, a paw print, and a polite demand for a lifetime supply.

my dogs have serious allergies. other dog foods made them lose hair,lose weight,have diarrhea and sometimes vomiting. within 3days of switching to this food my dogs stopped itching. no more diarrhea or vomiting. now full shiny coats,no hair loss. all around great improvement in their health. it's a little pricey but well worth it

I have an older female chihuahua who has lost some of her teeth and is a finicky eater. She loves this food. I also have a female young pug mix that likes the food. But she does like to eat. :) But this food does have a pleasant smell, and dogs seem to really like it. Their coats are soft, shiny, and less shedding. And less firm stool. My girls give it a paws up.

Our puppy would eat beef and chicken, but without any enthusiasm. When we bought the salmon flavored one, he was sitting down and waiting for it every time we opened the bag. And he loves sweet potatoes even when I dehydrate them as a treat so it was a win-win.

Dislike the size of the bag wish it was bigger. But the size you should give your dog it does last a while especially when you’re adding toppers and food fillers . The grain free and chicken free food is better for dogs/even a puppy. If dogs have allergies they may not have to worry with this brand

The most affordable NO grain quality food I could afford for 6 dogs. I avoid grains in dog food due to it is an imported ingredient and dogs are carnivores. Their fur is so shiny, they love it. I cook sweet potatoes for them as a treat and add pumpkin/pineapple/blueberries/yogurt etc depends on what is in the refrigerator.

My husky has a sensitive stomach and he’s super picky, he likes this food and it agrees with him, easy to digest. Is recommended and I will continue to purchase.

My Doberman has been on Hills Science Diet since she was a pup. Seems like the brand keeps increasing the price that I looked for a better alternative. Happy to have researched and started testing various Jinx products. All her food (dry kibble, canned wet, toppers) and snacks are made with Salmon. I was paying $66 just for one bag of Hills Science Diet dry kibble 12 lb bag, what a complete ripoff, and another $2.99 per can of wet food. When dog owners I encounter ask me about my Dobies shiny coat, and healthy weight I tell them that we've noticed better skin and coat since switching. Also my dog has always had sensitive stomach, I did transition to Jinx from her old food slowly (2 weeks as suggested) and she had no issues. I would highly recommend other dog owners consider the switch. Your wallet will thank you but most importantly your pet. Happy customer here and my Dobie really enjoys her Jinx food and Snacks.
