I'm a XX large size an lots of times nothing fits even when I try to order the size I need. It fits very nicely . The fabric is soft and easy to put on --- fits as I wanted it to .
Very comfortable, true to size. It helps to keep your thighs covered to help with no chaffing. Higher fitting so you don't get the line between your underwear and skin under your bra. Does not really offer any slimming effects more for keeping everything more smooth under clothes.
I got these to wear under dresses to avoid my thighs rubbing together and chaffing and these are perfect. The fabric isn't very compressing/controlling and it's very soft and breathable. I wouldn't buy this expecting it to 'suck you in' or hide your lumps and bumps much but it would hide your underwear line and help you avoid chub rub. Good luck out there everyone!
I purchased these to wear under my student LVN clinical uniforms. These are great they don't leave panty lines and they don't show and I wear these with white LVN clinical clothing. Good value for the price. I purchased size large and I usually wear a size 12 in pants and the size large is perfect.
I was looking for something breathable, lightweight and non-compression to wear under my dresses to prevent chafing. This was the perfect solution. These shorts don't roll down or ride up. They stay put and they have an extra layer of fabric to reinforce between the thigh area. I've washed it and worn it three times now and have had no issues with the material wearing or stretching out. they fit true to size and we're very comfortable with no digging in around the waistband. I'm 5'4 and weigh 165 lb and the size large fit perfectly.
These are well made %26 comfortable. I ordered 2 different sizes. I kept both sizes . I have been losing weight so I can still wear them. 8m glad I ordered 2 different sizes because I did wear the bigger pair. So I would suggest to go up 1 size . These are not compression garments. I needed mine to wear under a dress %26 I didn't have to worry about flashing anyone if the wind blew my dress up.
This garment is a nice addition to your lingerie drawer. It does not have the compression that traditional foundation wear does, it's not supposed to. This feels more like a higher waisted longer legged pair of regular underwear. It's just a smoother. It does exactly what I bought it for.
I normally wear an 18w or 2-3x in womens pants. I ordered the 4x and was overjoyed by how well they fit. Being a plus size girl I have the worst luck trying to find nude under shorts for my dresses. I usually resort to bike shorts that are bulky. These fit like a glove, and for $12 they cant be beat. For thigh reference mine are 34" and these did not dig in at all. I love them so much I went back and bought one in every color.
I like Jockey but their products are hit and miss with this being a miss and something I'm returning. The material is nice and it will help against chafing. It is a good underwear substitute under a skirt or dress if you are going to be doing a lot of walking. I read the reviews and they are all quite mixed with peoples' complaints. I didn't really find that this compressed anything while people said this compressed. I found them comfortable when walking around and standing and didn't have any roll over problems (I was between a small and a medium and ordered a medium which I wore high above my belly button as I'm short). What I didn't like was that when I sat down I felt like it made all me belly fat clump together looking like I was pregnant. In all fairness to Jockey, I do find shorts like this under dresses and skirts has this effect (shapewear/compression garments don't). I bought this really as an underwear alternative when I'm at work as I like to walk during my break and thought this would be better than bike shorts (as well as for traveling when wearing dresses but walking a lot). It's really just a lighter weight alternative to bike shorts under dresses/skirts imo, but like I said when sitting down you will get that giant stomach effect. The bonus with bike shorts is at least you can wear them as shorts.
THESE ARE *COMPRESSION* I BOUGHT THEM TWICE IN TWO SIZES AND EACH ONE HAD A DIFFERENT WAISTBAND AND BOTH WERE COMPRESSION, I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE, RETURNING THEM THEY ARE SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I JUST WANTED TO PREVENT MY THIGHS FROM RUBBING TOGETHER NOT FEEL LIKE A STUFFED SAUSAGE.
