I've been using the John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo (followed by the conditioner) for about a week now and I'm already notice my blonde looking brighter and more refreshed, especially around my face. I also appreciate that it cleans my hair very well. It doesn't make my hair feel stripped or overly dry which is super important to me after over processing. Excited to keep using to see how my blonde continues to brighten over time.

I definitely noticed a few shades lighter in my highlighted hair. I never felt any build up in my hair and loved the way my hair smelled after a shower.

It did not soften my hair as advertised, but I liked how it did not weigh my fine hair down. It is gentle enough to use everyday. I like how it extends my highlights and I feel like I can go longer without getting my hair done so often!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked great in combination with the conditioner. I used it for 7 days and my hair id looking much blonder than when I started. I have been losing the brightness in my hair for a while so I was happy this worked!

This has always been my go to shampoo but the new scent smells strongly like some sort of lemon cleaning supply. I really hate it. Will not buy again unless I can be sure the scent improves. Ideally, back to the smell before which I liked and got compliments on how my hair smelled.
