Joico Color Balance Shampoo Blue 10.1 Oz

This shampoo is extremely effective at toning down the brassiness in my hair. It essentially eliminates the orangy tones that remain after using ash blonde permanent color. Best results come from leaving the shampoo on for 5 to 10 minutes while I'm showering. I use it once or twice a week, alternating with color safe shampoo or Shimmer Lights shampoos on different days.

My hair is white, but some areas were getting a yellow tone. I used silver and purple shampoos and toners to try to make the overall tone cooler, but found most products not effective until Joico. The blue shampoo and conditioner has given my white hair a very subtle icy cool silver coloring, just what I wanted, and no more yellow hair!

I liked how it really controlled the brassy orange.. it corrected my hair into the color I wanted. It doesn't feel damaging yet neither! Was very happy with this product!!

It works well for your red highlights and keeps it from turning orange. I would have given it 5 stars, but in order to keep my red, red, I had to use it almost every day, and it dried out my hair easily. I might have to invest in the conditioner. I stopped adding red highlights, so I really won't use it much anyway.

I have read so many reviews on how great this shampoo and condition is to help with the brassiness in the hair. I have thick curly, coarse hair..I really couldn't see a difference, and it doesn't make your hair soft, or it didn't mine. Maybe I got a bad bottle, either way i dont think I will be purchasing this product again.

It's not the BEST,,,,,its ok I'd give it a 6 or 7 on a 1-10 scale....but I have problem hair...a lot of red undertone,,,,,so i struggle because I can't "bleach" my hair , or it will all fall out....the blue does a fair job or keeping the brassiness away

didn't do exactly what I thought it would

I've used this shampoo 2 times. The second time I put it on my dry hair and left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing it off. I see no difference in the tone of my hair.

it took the highlights out and damaged my hair by thinning it!

Today is March 2, 2024 this was ordered in December. Says UPS delivered in January. I hope whoever received it likes it I never git it I also contacted this company at least 4x's. Love losing $$$.
