The JOLLY CHEF 10x8 inch compostable plates are a high-quality, eco-friendly option for parties and events. While they offer great compartments for food separation, buyers should pay close attention to the dimensions to ensure they meet their specific needs. Quality and Packaging The quality is good, especially for a compostable paper product. The plates arrived in good packaging, ensuring they weren't crushed or warped during shipping. The material feels thick and reliable, standing up well to various types of food without soaking through immediately. Size and Suitability These plates are a perfect size for many occasions, but they are specifically perfect for a small party or a gathering where portions are controlled. It is worth noting that they are 10x8 inches; I returned them as I wanted something a little bigger for a larger meal. However, for standard party servings, the 5-compartment design works very well. Performance and Value In terms of build, these are quite sturdy. They don't buckle easily under the weight of food, which is a common complaint with cheaper disposable plates. Additionally, they are offered at a good price, providing excellent value for a bulk pack of 120. Final Verdict If you are looking for a reliable, eco-friendly plate for a small event or a kids' party, these are an excellent choice. Just be sure to verify the 10x8 inch size is sufficient for your menu.
I made tomatoes and okra (Mrs. Holmes), Black eye Peas (GV), Green Beans (GV), Garlic Toast, Pork tenderloin filet,, all from a Walmart grocery order. tomatoes okra, peas, beans, were all in 'soup', the garlic toast and baked potatoes laid on the bottom of the pork tenderloin filet, and liquid from the tenderloin cooking spread across the medallion pork tenderloins, and it did not get wet and bend. kept the veggies divided, great use for buffet, walk thru, fill your plate, no need for seconds. has 5 compartments. reminded me of a school cafeteria platter.
These were great for my family Christmas party. These were great for my family Christmas party. Sturdy and no soak through sturdy and no soak through.
I liked the trays. About to buy more. Got my money's worth because they didn't slump over with the food on the tray, it stayed there n position. Also my daughter is soooo picky she can't stand for her food to touch one another.
We used these plates for an outdoor barbecue that we held at a park for our church. They were very sturdy and people liked having all the separate compartments--especially for kids who don't like all their food to touch!
My family loved these sectional sturdy paper plates when we got together for Christmas…Not a bad price as well…
Perfect for all the get togethers Super strong and does not leak. They are not super large but big enough to and if you want more, seconds in my house means you love my food. Eat up baby there's more where that came from.
At first, I thought they were going to be too small for the adults, but they are great. I even purchased additional plates, just in case. Everyone used these. They are very sturdy. We liked them a lot.
Good, more for small get togethers like sandwiches and few little sides . Smaller than what I thought but definitely work work
It said I would get it on Wednesday because I needed for a anniversary party, then it said it would be delayed and delivery would be Saturday then I got another email saying it was delayed again and would be there on Monday after the anniversary party
