It was great. no leakage, no problems in any of the four bottles. Great Deck Cleaner, Been using for many many years. good price for 4 of them. Will definitely buy again. Used to buy in store at Walmart. No longer sells in store. So happy they sell on line though.
This is the only deck cleaner that removes mold AND dirty tree sap, that has soaked into our composite deck. There is actually very little scrubbing required and the end results are amazing!
Rinsed House first. Sprayed Jomax Deck Wash on Full Strength with a pump-sprayer. Immediately saw dark mold/algae/grime begin to loosen and come off. About 5-10 minutes later, Sprayed/Rinsed areas with 'jet' setting on garden hose nozzle, and the majority of the 'junk' rinsed off the walls. Here in Tampa, Florida, the Weather is very Hot, Humid, with Daily rain showers, and conditions are always perfect for mold/algae growth. This Product worked very well. For those who gave this product a poor rating, I suggest they review their application process. Follow label directions, and in my case, used product full-strength with rinse ... and you will get good results. It's not always the product --- It's 'how' you use it ! I just ordered another '10' gallons for a large surface area fence and surrounding landscape timbers. Be careful 'not' to get product on plants. rinse immediately. Bleach based products will harm delicate shrubbery if not rinsed off. Other than that warning --- product exceeded my expectations. I Highly recommend the Jomax Deck Wash by the trusted Rustoleum Corp. !
I have used this product for years. Spray...wait... hose wash....DONE This does an excellent job with little effort. I tried many products...some by jomax AND this is the very best for a house wash and fence cleaning.
Works great when rinsed with a pressure washer. Great value compared to other cleaners
Jomax is easy to use and very effective at removing mold and dirt. Safe on surrounding plants.
Outstanding product. We used it on our composite deck which is never in direct sunlight so in the year since it was built, it accumulated a bunch of algae/mold stains which would not wash off with other products. We bought one gallon as a trial and it did such a great job with no scrubbing involved that we ordered 4 more gallons to have on hand because all of the really terrific products that we buy seem to get "new and improved" and don't work so well when we try to buy them again later. Unfortunately we didn't take before and after photos for you to see - however, we HIGHLY recommend this product!
I have leaving negative reviews and I do love the price of this, but I have tried it quite a few different times, each with a different technique, i.e., a large push brush; scrubbing on my hands and knees (did not like that one – nor did my clothes); using a pressure washer after applying, etc. I won't say I did not notice any difference but there are many more affordable applications that do a better job. In saying that, I did spray on some siding, let it sit and took the hose to it. I found it to be much more suitable for cleaning.
Maybe OK for a deck - but not a patio...Tried this product on my patio paver stones that were dirty & had some mildew. Not much success. Also tried on plastic lattice work trellis that was had green algae - no luck there either. Wanted to avoid using harsher chemicals, but perhaps will do better with regular Jo-Max & bleach.
This product is so poor I had to purchase another brand to redo what this product could not do, clean so I could stain.
