There isn't any actual "assembly" but I found the locking slides a little difficult for my not-nimble and stiff thumbs or fingers to operate. But the platform is sturdy and height is perfect for reaching the higher cabinets in my kitchen and bedroom closet.

There is no assembly of this little fold out stool, and it is easy to open and close. It has a “locking” feature which is nice. I'm using it to prop up our 5 gallon water jugs, and it seems to do the job well! It would be great for a step stool as well.

I use it for myself, my intent was to use it as an aerobic step, but it was too high, thankfully, I also happen to be short. I keep it in my closet so I can reach things I forget I placed up top.

i got it because we needed another stool, and it was easy to store. but i also for it sturdiness to hold up to a certain weight.

This is perfect for me! I have a smaller one and a huge one. This is the best for smaller heights. Great for the grandkids. Love the fold up design!

I bought multiple for my toddler to use for our bathroom and closets. It is a good size for the landing platform, the height is just right and it's quite sturdy. It even handled my weight. The only thing that comes with something that folds is the ability to pinch fingers. There is a safety lock but it still happens when my kids carry it around.

I did not like the price. I have like 5 of these already but they were a lot cheaper. They charged so much bc they actually have a lock on them too keep them from closing. I actually have never had that issue out of all the ones I've purchased elsewhere and much cheaper. I'd rather they had been 5-6 $ and no lock. These are a great size for the automatic self-cleaning litter boxes I got to use as a step for my cats. Bc you pay all that money for a self cleaning litter box but they never come with the steps needed for your car to enter easily.

I gave this 4 stars only because it does take two hands to collapse. The design ensures that it is locked in place when opened for use, making it great for little ones that are becoming independent. However, to fold requires two hands and my 4 year old grandchild is unable to fold it up.

This is a great stool for when you (or your children) might need a little boost. Unlike other stools of the same size and nature, this one requires two hands to unlock it for folding. This is a great feature, but it does take a little effort to collapse it.
