Safety 1st Cabinet & Drawer Latch (14pk), White, Toddler

These are a miracle worker! Our one year old is into everything. We have these everywhere in the house and he cant seems to get the cabinets and drawers open. Note of advice, use the latch parts. I tried to install just the locks and it worked but he started Yanking the drawers and I had to go back and install the other piece. If you have cabinets that arent wood. Prepare to drill pilot holes, no biggie, it just took longer to install.

Basic Latch -14 pk is comparable to other products I've tried. The item which stands out is the installation guide which was included in the package. That was helpful for alignment and installation. I would you buy the Basic Latch -14 pk again when I move or install more cabinets. I would you recommend the Basic Latch -14 pk to others who have animals (cats or dogs) who tend to get into cabinets. These are great and keep my 4 year old from getting into places he shouldn't. also, I liked how the appearance of he cabinets were not altered. These are much better than the things i have to install on the outside of the cabinet or the things which hold cabinet knobs together,

The Basic Latch -14 pk are awesome and have a handy template which makes installation a lot easier. They work amazing on drawers and cabinets and keep my baby out of them. Easy for an adult to unlock. I would definitely purchase these and recommend them to anyone needing to baby proof the home. I received a free sample for my review, however, all opinions are my own.

Works as expected. The screw holes had to be pre drilled before they could be screwed in, but that might be because my cabinets have thicker wood. Just something to think about. The latches work great, its just a little time consuming to get them all installed.

I have a lot of cabinets and drawers so I needed a lo of latches. Looked at babies r us but they were to high for only a few. As always Walmart has the best deals. The product is very good and will last for a long time. Would buy!

These in theory work great, however they are very difficult to install in drawers (I wouldnt know about cabinets. For drawers the piece you screw into the top is almost impossible to screw in. You need to be able to remove the whole drawer and then hope your screw driver is short enough to fit in the drawer opening. Also be careful to make sure there is enough room to open the drawer once it is latched... even if it says place back an inch, test it before screwing the pieces in. Once the latches are in though, they have worked well.

The latches work for my son but not for us, we keep breaking them (our fault too because we are not used to them yet and open the drawers with force) had to mark the cabinets as a reminder.

i returned these. they require you to use screws and once i got home and tried, there's no way for me to fit screws into the areas i need to for cabinets or drawers.

Awful design , awful awful design. First of all it says you only need a Philips head which is bogus . Good luck drilling into wood upside down with a Philips head. You can't fit a whole drill upside down in a drawer usually so that leaves you with One option, attempting to drill it in from an angle so that doesn't work out and it slips and you rip your finger open and bleed everywhere . This should have been made with an adhesive strip . God knows why they decided on this design instead of one that actually works. Id leave zero stars if I could
