This is extremely sturdy
I first bought this lock when I had to stay in the hotel with my kids while traveling and my toddler kept going in the mini fridge and taking everything out so it would spoil quickly. I seen this lock at walmart and decided to buy it. Best thing that I have bought in a long time! i bought more for my house and they worked perfectly.My toddler is very , very strong and she is not able to open these. These locks are extremely sturdy and won't come off. I had to remove it at the hotel with a hair dryer.

Toddler proof for sure!
It is definitely worth the extra couple dollars to get these ones! My 2 and 3 yesr old can get past door knobs, locks, baby gates etc but the fake button on these they cant figure out, yet they are easy for me to open one handed AND re latch. I have bought SIXTEEN in total. They worked for the fridge, cupboards, nightstands AND dresser drawers. Amazing product for very curious kids! Keeps things safe AND tidy. Plus they are easy to install and STRONG! My kids will darn near pull with their full body weight and I have yet to have one fail. Best money spent on childproofing so far!

I dont used these to keep my kids out of the cabinets I use it to keep my cat out of them, our cabinets dont stay closed on their own and they were driving me crazy but they work great for this! The latch is easy to use as well!

This lock has already started helping so much! My daughter is no longer able to pull the refrigerator open, which means our food stays fresh and doesn’t go to waste—definitely saving us grocery money. It was easy to install and blends in well with our kitchen. I love that it’s sturdy but still simple enough for adults to open when needed. As a parent, it gives me peace of mind knowing I’ve added an extra layer of safety without making things harder for the rest of the household. Highly recommend for any parent with a curious little one!

It keeps my 2 year old granddaughter out of the fridge. Several times she emptied the milk and broke the eggs. Great mess.

Go with a different brand.
Adhesive worked fine. When you got the thing to lack, it works fine, but getting it to latch is so frustrating that after three days of not getting it to ever latch back together, I ripped it off the door and threw it in the garbage where it belongs.

this item was not worth it. the adhesive broke of leaving the sticker on the fridge. I would not recommend.
