joy pink razor for women 1 handle + 2 blade refills

I was pleasantly surprised when I received all my Joy shaving goodies, including the razor, shaving cream and refill cartridges. The razor looks so cute in my bathroom and I love the grip handle, makes it easy to shave in a rush!

I was very excited to finally get the chance to try a female shaving subscription service, and one that was available right in store. I was hesitant though because I've always been more privy to men's razors simply because they have the better blades and typically have more on the handle. While this razor did give me a much closer shave than any other female branded razors, the blades on occasion almost felt rusty against my skin and would cut me slightly. I love the packaging and think the color is perfect, happy to finally see a color that is not pink! I loved the ease of finding the product, the promotions, and the in store displaying of the product as well.

My first Joy razor lasted over 7 years but the handle began to split. I bought this shaver as a replacement. The razor handle was a “squishy” material that felt tacky after using. It was better after using Dawn soap on it. My real issue was the blade. I thought it was me, but every time I used the blades in the package I ended up with numerous cuts and the shave wasn't great. I have refills from my previous razor I am using for now. Hope when I run out the blades will be better than the ones that came with this purchase.

The razor blades do a good job and are staying sharp. I really dislike the handle, though. It's almost a perfect cylinder; there are no flattened indentations for my fingers to grip. Since the whole process of shaving is a slippery, soapy business, I really don't feel like have I have good control and the whole thing could twirl like a top in my hand at any moment. I'm going to try a different brand when these 2 starter blades are done.

It didnt get the job done like how it was supposed to and it left me with lots of unwanted razor bumps!!!!! Will never use this brand ever again in my life

Not a smooth save AT ALL! Doesn't glide across the skin, more or less squeaks and drags the whole waY. You will be left with stubble and a razor burn.

This is the typical BIC razor and felt like it!! Made to compete with razors like Billie and flamingo, it falls WAY short. I threw it away after 2 uses. I have tried billie, flamingo, and joy looking for the best shave. This was horrible. It felt cheap, the shave was not smooth, and I hated it. It's the same as the very cheap BIC razors with a bigger price tag. I would vote Billie razor in 1st place, then flamingo. Joy doesn't even make the cut.

these only have close to 5 stars because they were given out to people to test ‘in exchange for their hOnEsT opinion’ 🙄 If zero stars were an option...thats exactly what i would give this razor. I have used a TON of razors. I always need 5-blades. I bought this, used it maybe twice and the blade was dull (i dont have thick, coarse hair either) Not only was it dull..it did not leave me silky smooth like the original (Purple, with Olay) Venus razor does (which i can never find at any Walmart anymore..😔only the Venus Olay in the gold/yellow package and its not as good, so i order it from Amazon) Anyway...this razor does NOT cator to a woman’s body, at all.. •no pivoting head •a tee-TINY moisture strip •and...a complete set up for razor burn. •Everywhere. AGAIN, save your money.. •The ONLY thing i like about this razor is the handle. ..well and the color choices.• BUT those two things are not enough to make me (EVER) want to purchase more of these horrid ‘lawn mower’ bladed razors. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Im trying Billie. *Razor, magnetic holder, two 5-blade Cartridges..for $9. With a TON of HONEST reviews..and u can get 4, 5blade refills sent for $9! After that! FREE SHIPPING!
