I buy all the time for a starter as there's not a lot of pork in it. I buy a small pkg of pork stew meat to cook and add in. I add a tsp or so of garlic, onion powder, red chile powder and a dash of cumin for extra flavour optional. If I have it I add pure chopped green chilies that come in a bag in freezer section in Walmart. Canned tastes like vinegar. Quick for tacos, burritos or enchiladas. I also dress the top of my chile relleanos with left overs which can be frozen.

I order this pork chili verde over and over. It's so easy to make and has lots of meat in it. I usually add a diced onion and a diced jalapeno and a little olive oil and then just let it simmer up in a pot. And then I serve it with sour cream and chips or tortillas and cilantro, etc. And it's just so easy.

I had to order this Chile Verde with pork, because my local store often does not have it in stock. I buy it when I see it on the shelf. Recent cans could possibly be of lesser quality than those from years in the past, but I doubt it. It is so close to restaurant quality that I think maybe my favorite restaurants Chile verde compuesta is made from this stuff; it is that good. The pork seems to be well measured, in the bottom of the can, and is ready to be broken up with a fork, to serve in proper proportions. This is an excellent product.

this is a marvelous product can be used when making smothered burritos and it even works by itself with just tortillas. love love it and so glad I found it. hope Walmart keeps it available to continue to purchase.

The taste was okay, just a tad bit of after-burner. The sauce is very runny. Had to thicken it up. The meat was fairly generous for a canned item of this type. There was nothing in this but the sauce and meat. They should add some carrots, hominy, onions.... We had to do that ourselves. So it's okay as a quick green chile stew fix over rice on a week night, but I prefer to make my own, given the time.

This chile verde has a good flavor and it makes Mexican food really easy. I've made my own which is much better, but it is a big production. This is just opening a can. However, there is a lot of sauce compared to pork. But it is quite flexible, tacos, burritos, enchiladas. The only real problem I have with it is that I can only get it shipped.

Pretty good tasting but the pork is dry and gritty. I still keep it around for a quick meal over rice. I sub greek yogurt for a dollop of sour cream, add some lime juice and tapatio and it's pretty dang good.

this is the second time that I've ordered this product and what is remarkable the first time I ordered one can I got delivered an empty box that is no lie the second time I ordered which is the order I just got I ordered two cans I received one can and one can of canned pork meat which I did order I did not receive my full order again

It's extremely salty, the green chili is sour. The meat is really tough and doesn't break apart. This is best for burritos that have a lot more ingredients in it. Maybe nachos, too. But it's not quality meat at all. I gave it two stars because it put something in my belly at least. Wasn't worth $7 though. Could've ate better at a fast food joint
