We needed something in our garage to store some car detailing items and also some muzzle loader things. The two pack was the best value we found between Amazon and Walmart. The crates were the perfect size to store our items and e they are see through, you can see what's in each one. Really cleaned up the shelves and makes them look more organized. Seem to be pretty sturdy. Held all of the car detailing items with no issues and they tend to get heavy. Happy with the purchase.
Sturdy, real crate. Has no sharp edges or deformities, which means it slides a bit in my car trunk unlike older, real, used milk crates that are scuffed on the bottom that seem to grip the trunk carpet lining better. 😉 ikr. Milk crates are great for holding bags of groceries or a 20lb BBQ propane tank so it doesn't go rolling all around the trunk when transporting. The price was fair at around $7 ea. although I think Menard's had similar ones for $6
There is not a lot to say. I bought it for its practicality of holding items in the bed of 4x4, which it does. Obviously, I can use bungy cords to hold it in place as needed, yet is also small enough to tuck, somewhat, under the passenger seat as well. Came as described and in the original time frame stated when purchasing.
COULD HAVE STOLEN THEM, IT'S ALOT CHEAPER !!! THE CRATES ARE OVERPRICED ESPECIALLY WHEN U CONSIDER THAT THEY'RE MADE WITH 100% RECYCLED PLASTIC ! THE PLASTIC MILK CRATES ARE VERY STURDY %26 CAN BE USED AS A SEAT, OR A STAND FOR OUR BIG SCREEN TV AS WELL AS A STORAGE CONTAINER @ THE SAME TIME. WE OFTEN MULTI-TASK OUR FURNITURE %26 WE CUT OUT A HOLE ON THE SIDE 2 FORM A TV STAND W/A CONTAINER %26 JUST DECORATED THE CRATES WITH PAINTED CARDBOARD THAT THE CRATES WERE DELIVERED IN, THEN GLUED THE UNFINISHED SIDE OF THE CARDBOARD TO THE PLASTIC MILK CRATES. IT WORKS 4 US ! WE ALSO INSTALLED USED RUBBER WHEELS FROM SOME BROKEN SKATE BOARDS THAT WE FOUND IN THE TRASH 2 ATTACH 2 THE BOTTOM OF THE 3rd PLASTIC MILK CRATE 2 FORM A LAUNDRY BASKET SO MY WIFE CAN PULL IT ALONG BEHIND HER 2 THE LAUNDROMAT BEHIND HER 3 WHEELER BICYCLE ON WASH DAY !
I bought this to attach to my rear bike rack with zip ties. This is it with my helmet and bike riding wig. I think this is compact and looks new. And when I say that I mean it doesn't look like something I found somewhere. It was easy to attach with the zip ties and does not add noticeable weight to the bike.
I have a small 5.0 cu. ft. Chest Freezer in the garage. Crates are strong and do not distort when frozen. 2 crates stack perfectly in the main section of the freezer. Stacking the crates makes seeing what's inside the freezer and bringing ENTIRE crate into the kitchen SUPER EASY. A little added bonus, is that I have meat products in one crate and meat alternative in the other. Yes, this household has both omnivores and vegetarians. I bring the crates inside take what I need and put them back in <1 minute. No more trying to dig in the freezer to find what I'm looking for. I was thinking about getting one of the standup convertible freezers so I could see what's inside but decided to try these crates first. So glad I did. I like this much better because I bring the whole crate in the house. I'm thinking about getting a couple more to stack on my closet shelf for my beauty items, utensils and tools LOL.
These crates are made from heavy duty, thick plastic material. They are similar to the milk crates you see in the dairy section of the supermarket. The price is a tad higher than I like, but quality is top notch. Shipping SUCKS though. I bought these to use as a cheap storage in my laundry room. Stacking them vertically and zipped tied together to create a 4 foot(ish) tall cube unit. These are durable and easy to clean.
I've bought similar for much more - and these are just as good, so I stocked up. :-) They are just so useful; dozens of ways to use them. My first was just as a footrest on my deck. :-) These, I'm using to store liquids (like oil and cleaning products) in my garage. Oh, and they make great bins for my dog's toys; plenty of air circulation - unlike other bins I've used where they can get smelly and no way to clean them.
These are more sturdy than I thought they would be for sure but still not quite as sturdy as the good old school ones. We keep these in our vehicles to carry multiple things in and out of the house in one trip. Great quality for the price. We bought 2 to try and ended up buying more.
Do not order this if you need to house items closer to the product's size. The spacing between what can be held and the actual product leaves you with much less surface area / volume than you'd expect. PLEASE list your inner specifications for users in the future.
